“Ok, so let me get this straight... wait no... I can't do that... I'm gay.” Virgil snickered a bit at himself and he glanced over at Patton. They were out in the quad resting on a blanket Patton had set up for them having a picnic before Patton had to go meet up with Logan before class. “Princey's care package is being delivered to you here?”

“Well, yeah kiddo? It's a package. Plus knowing him, he's put all sort of things in it so it's probably pretty heavy and stuff.” Patton smiled as he pulled out some wrapped up homemade chicken salad sandwich and passed it over to Virgil. “I'm actually very excited. He's hasn't sent anything in so long. I wonder what sorts of things he's found this time.”

“Yeah well, I'm just surprised he even offered to buy me a ticket.” Patton smiled softly at his friend who was staring at the sandwich with a slight blush.

“He really is the sweetest. He deserves the best.”

“Don't let him hear you say that...” Virgil laughed as he finally started to unwrap his food. “... his ego will only get bigger.”

“Virg...”

“Package for a Mr. Patton Picani?” Virgil glanced up to see this man standing there with a box in his hands. He was wearing dark sunglasses that completely blacked out his eyes a maroon baseball with a yellow star on the front. The figure in the star made it quite clear that it was a Hamilton hat making Virgil scoff a bit with a smile. He'd never admit it but he was just as much Hamiltrash as Princey was. Virgil watched as Patton carefully took the box from the man who only crossed his arms making his black leather jacket crinkle outward to reveal a bright red undershirt.

“That's me... Do I need to sign or...” Patton started to pat around himself in confusion making Virgil laugh a bit. “... Where's my id?”

“Oh, no need for that, Sir? I just need to make sure you've receive everything. He was very clear that I see you with it. Apparently there's something very valuable in it.” The man shrugged brushing off what he said as Virgil sat up feeling a bit nervous now. Virgil was never told of post men staying to make sure of anything. Plus the idea of Princey sending anything remotely expressive made his nauseous with nerves. Patton however didn't so much as blink in response he just went on his way trying to open it so the man could do his job. Once again he started looking about him and Virgil sighed pulling his pocket knife out of his pocket. Patton smiled as he gratefully took it and started opening the box only to freeze. “Is everything alright? I have a list if you want to know what was supposed to be in there.”

“Oh, it's ok. Everything fine... it's just...” Patton pulled out this fluffy black bear with a blue heart sewn into it with a smile. “I was waiting for this!”

“I know...” Virgil narrowed his eyes hearing the man whisper but he brushed it off in an attempt to calm his nerves. “Well, bear is checked off. What else is there?” Patton just shrugged as he skimmed through it.

“Pictures, papers... a script? Oooh, Anx'll love that!” Virgil narrowed his eyes as Patton kept rummaging through, the man just watching with an almost smirk. “But other than that one thing... I don't see anything expensive.”

“I didn't say expensive... I said valuable. The value is in the eye of beholder. So...” The man smirked as he raised an eye brow behind his blacked out shades. “What is it that you view as highly valuble?”

“My family.” Patton giggled as he spun around with a smile. “...and my friends. But I don't think that's what he meant.” The man just laughed causing Virgil to tense up more. He was about to say something when the man pulled his sunglasses down enough to reveal striking emerald eyes. Patton was frozen.

“Hey there, Patty-cakes.” He winked as he pushed the glasses back up only to get slammed into a hug by Patton who was screaming in excitement.

“ROMAN!” Virgil couldn't move. He really couldn't. He just sat there watching the scene unfurl before him. Princey knew Roman Black. Roman Black brought the box. Roman Black... was standing there right in front of him. Virgil was pretty sure this was his first experience of what Princey called 'gay panic'.

“Shhh... Patton not so loud. You're gonna blow my cover!” The man... Roman whisper yelled as he let Patton go with a smile. HOW DOES PATTON KNOW ROMAN BLACK?!

“What are you doing here? What about that show?” Patton was a hyper mess as Roman rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly with a small smile.

“Eh... I got dropped but it's ok.” Roman smirked proudly in a victorious superman pose. “It was epic.” The man laughed as he relaxed with a guilty smile. “You'll just have to watch the episode to find out. But that's enough about me, what about you?! I heard you have a date to the Halloween bash. AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME?!” He pressed a hand to his chest in such an over dramatized offense.

“It's not a date...”

“Logan Berry asked to go with him... The man practicly a shell!” Virgil called out catching everyones attention. Only the moment Roman glanced over his eyes widened a bit, no doubt realizing there was another face. “Yet I have litterally heard him giggle after getting a text from you... It's a date.”

“Awe... Kiddo, I know your upset over not having comp...”

“Patton, I love you, but I don't need you to hold my hand. I'll figure everything out fine myself.” Virgil started to get up brushing his pants off as he glanced over at Roman again with narrowed eyes. “Just make sure he doesn't cause a scene.” Patton frowned as Virgil groaned brushing his hair back knocking his hood down. “I have enough to deal with when it was just the posters...”

“Virg...”

“I've got to get to drama.” Patton nodded as Virgil sighed turning to leave when Roman called out stopping him.

“Do you have Mr. Davidson?” Virgil shot him a look and Roman smiled. “Think I could tag along?”

“Roman Black, you're a literal idol here... Do whatever you want.”
