"VIRGIL?!" The anxious one tensed as Patton ran over with concern. "What happened? Are you ok? Roman?!"
"I'm ok Pat." Virgil laughed as Roman held him tighter. "I just tripped and twisted my ankle good. It'll be better long before the play."
"Roman?" Virgil sighed as he crossed his arms in annoyance.
"The doctor said nothing was sprained or broken. Virgil's right... He said it should be fine. It's just going to be really tender since he pulled a muscle." Patton nodded sadly he helped Virgil to the table much to Roman's dismay who was left there without them. Roman sighed as he made his way over finding he was placed at the end of the table two seats away from Virgil, who sat beside Emile at the other end of the table. The table was quite empty as Roman assumed people were inside. Virgil shot him a look and Roman frowned knowing what it meant. He had to interduce himself. Its better than having people think he just assumed everyone knew who he was. Roman sighed as he made his way over to this group and Virgil smiled from his seat. "Uh... h-hey."
"Wha..." The eldest spun around and his eyes went wide seeing Roman there. "WHY DIDN"T ANYONE TELL ME ROMAN WAS HERE?!" Remus laughed beside his brother as Emile jumped in total shock and excitement.
"I literally yelled out 'guess who's here'." Emile frowned as Roman shifted uncomfortably.
"Is everything ok?" Roman tensed as he quickly put on that smile. He had forgotten Emile was a therapist. He's one of the best even.
"Everything is randy dandy and quite grandy." Remus held back the laughter as Roman chuckled a bit. Emile just shot him this look. "I'm good. Really just... nervous." Emile sighed knowing he wasn't going to get an answer and nodded.
"Don't be, Kiddo. We're all family here."
"We'll not really as we all aren't actually blood or even marital..."
"I take it you're Logan." Remus didn't hold back the laughter then. Logan nodded as Virgil hobbled his way over.
"Logan Berry!"
"Virgil, I've told you. My name is Logan Sanders." Roman frowned in confusion as Virgil just smiled.
"I know... I don't care." Logan smirked softly as Virgil smiled. "Logan Berry here is Patton's textpal. Those two have become inseparable."
"Why does he call you Logan Berry if that's not your name?" Logan laughed as he shook his head.
"Logan, here's an actor in his own right."
"Not true." Roman's confusion grew as Logan sighed. "I simply agreed to one commercial. A commercial I only got because of my brother..."
"No. Logan you got it because you were their best customer. Crofters put your face on their Logan's berry Jam not his. You helped your brother so much that when they saw that promo you did on his channel they picked you. It's not because of Thomas."
"THOMAS SANDERS?!" Everyone reeled back at the sudden outburst as Roman literally fanboyed. Virgil was stunned at the childish look in the other. "You're Thomas Sanders's brother."
"Yes... I said my name was Sanders. Didn't I say that..."
"You're Thomas Sanders's brother." Roman giggled as he jumped with excitement. "You have no idea how big of a fan I am of that guy." Logan narrowed his eyes in thought as Roman nudged Virgil happily. "Thomas freaking Sanders... He's the whole reason I wanted to be an actor. Watching him onstage..."
"Is that why you did that cover?" Roman blushed in embarrassment as Virgil just laughed again. "Come on it was all over the news."
"Yes well... I'm pretty sure I botched it." Roman laughed softly as he shook his head. "Anyway, I've met Emile... Logan... Remy but..." Remus's eyes went wide as he shifted anxiously. Virgil knew why. Despite their estranged relationship, Remus cares deeply about his twin. So much so he wants to make Roman proud. If Roman didn't approve he didn't know what he would do. "Where's this Cassidy, I've heard so much about?"
"Behind you." Roman jumped spinning around to see an almost spitting image of Patton except his style was so different. He was where a black button-up partially unbuttoned to reveal a yellow shirt underneath. He had his sleeves rolled up to reveal a two-headed snake and Roman narrowed his eyes, making Remus very nervous. One thing Roman noticed right away was the dual-colored heterochromatic eyes. Cassidy held his hand out and Roman just laughed as he hugged the man shocking everyone.
"What's with the formalities?" Remus smiled as Roman laughed. "You're dating my brother. I'm not going to shake your hand like were doing some sort of business deal."
"So... does that mean you're ok with this?" Cassidy's eyes shined as he glanced over at his boyfriend.
"Why wouldn't I be? The dudes old enough to make his own choices. As long as your not hu..." Roman tensed up as he looked away and Remus frowned. "You're good. I'm just happy to meet you."
"Roman..."
"It's ok, Remus." Roman sighed as he shook his head. "We'll talk later." Remus frowned as he grabbed his brother's arm.
"No, we aren't." Remus literally dragged Roman away making Virgil nervous. "Roman..."
"I said it was ok." Remus shook his head as he held his twin's hand tightly.
"Roman, I'm sorry." Roman faltered as Remus looked away. "That's all I wanted to say. It's all I've wanted to say for years now."
"Remus, you were right. Why are you sorry?" Remus frowned more as Roman sighed. "Remus, you warned me. You told me the kind of person Damien was and I... I treated you like shit. Even before that. All you ever tried to do was protect me and I shoved in your face."
"In your defense, I did steal Josh from you doing that..." Roman narrowed his eyes as Remus tensed. "And Natalie."
"Natalie was never going to last... Obviously." Roman laughed as he glanced back over at the table to see everyone starting to sit down. "Remus, I'm over this."
"What?"
"This... Us.. this terrible relation we have." Roman sighed as he rummaged around his pocket before picking a piece of paper out and handing it over. "I should never have deleted it off your phone." Remus's eyes widened as Roman smiled.
"Roman... before you give me that you should know..."
"I know." Remus froze as Roman put the paper in his hand. "It was you on the phone, wasn't it? When Anx called me?" Remus nodded and Roman sighed. "It's ok. I understand... Virgil he... He needed help so obviously he would go to a friend. Patton wouldn't help him, not with something like this."
"Wait you know it's..." Roman nodded as he glanced back at Virgil with a sad look in his eyes. "Roman, I am really sor..."
"Don't be, Remus. You were helping a friend. Besides, I'm your brother... when have you ever passed up a chance to fuck with me?" Roman laughed trying to lighten the mood but Remus just stood there frozen. "Remus, really... It's ok."
"Why give me your number?" Roman smiled as Remus held the paper tightly. "You told me you never wanted me to contact you again."
"I was wrong, Remus. Like I said you were protecting me. All you ever did was protect me and after Alex I pushed you away for no reason. That wasn't right. I never should have cut you off." Roman pulled Remus in for a hug as he held his brother tightly for the first time in so so very long. "I never want to lose the people who truly care about me. I never want you to think I don't care about you. We're family..."
"Hey!" Roman and Remus both laughed as they jumped apart to see Remy smirking from the table. "You guys done being sappy yet? We're all kind of hungry here!"
"Coming!" The twins called over together before laughing as they ran back over.
