Chapter 11: Idiot

One week later...

Jungkook yells, "YOU GOT TO KISS HER!" Mina nods shyly as Jungkook starts to hold her lips. He asks, "It's an indirect kiss, if I kiss you right now. Right? That's how it works!" Jimin slaps the younger as he says, "Stop it, those lips are only for me." Chaeyoung and Yoongi cringe as Mina blushes. Jungkook then asks, "So is she... gone?" Mina nods as he remains quiet.

Jihyo then asks, "So are you ok?" Momo asks confused, "Wait. Who's moon child and star child? And who did Mina kiss?" Namjoon groans and explains the whole thing in simpler terms. Momo's jaw drop slightly as she grasps the situation. She turns to Mina and asks, "Was she a good kisser?" Jungkook's head turns to Mina waiting for an answer. Mina answer awkwardly, "I guess?"

Momo smiles proudly and looks at Hoseok then says, "I told you she look liked a good kisser." Jin, Jennie, and Jaebeom then join the table. Hoseok points at the siblings and asks, "What about these two? Are they evil?" Jimin says, "Only Jennie, Jaebeom is a sweetheart." Jennie freezes Jimin's drink and food. He then points at her and says, "See! She's a witch!"

Jihyo asks confused, "Wait, was Principal YG evil? Why did he get kicked out?" Jimin answers, "No, he was being controlled too. I think they kicked him out because something with being perverted and drugs." Mina says, "No worries, we cleared Principal JYP's name and he's back."

Jin then slams the table creating a large noise which silences the whole cafeteria. He raises his voices, "You are all asking useless questions. What confuses me the most is..." He points at Jimin and Mina then says, "Are you two dating?"

The entire table stares at the two. They stay quiet as Jimin bites his lip and Mina reads his mind. Jimin feels the tingling sensation then glances at Mina worriedly. Mina suddenly stands and walks away totally pissed. Chaeyoung finally speaks up, "What were you thinking?" Jimin stays quiet then chases after Mina.

Yoongi says, "Jin, I thought you can see the future?" He chuckles and says, "I only saw the part where Mina stood up, I thought they were going to make out or something." Jennie slaps his arm and says, "Pervert."

Jimin follows Mina out of the cafeteria and gently grabs her wrist. She avoids turning around as he says softly, "Mina, look at me." She doesn't move so he pulls her. Mina turns and Jimin's heart aches as he sees the tears flowing from her eyes. Mina says, "Stop, you can't see me like this." Jimin says, "Mina..." She interrupts, "Don't, I already know what you're going to say. I guess I was delusional." Jimin says, "It's not like that."

She pulls her arm away and says, "It's exactly like that. You don't want to be with me and your excuse is that you love me. Right?" Jimin says, "It's not like that, my presence endangers your life." Mina says, "I know. I don't care." He says, "But I do, the last thing I want is for you to be in danger." She says, "The only thing I want is you. So Jimin, this is your last chance, do you love me?"

Jimin lets go of her wrist as she looks at him expectedly. He says, "Mina, I love you. I really do but..." Mina looks down and before he can finish his sentence. She says, "Bye Jimin..."

Chaeyoung walks out the cafeteria to see Jimin standing there devastated. She asks, "I'm usually good at keeping secrets but... you know that Mina really likes you, right?" He nods and Chaeyoung asks, "Then why'd you do it? I'm no mind reader but you seem to like her too."

Jimin says, "But I hurt her." Chaeyoung says, "No you didn't, you can't keep blaming yourself. It's not your fault, you were mind controlled." He says, "I already rejected her..." Chaeyoung embraces him in a hug and says, "Stop being stupid, please. It's hard to watch. Just go there and you know, talk to her. Tell her the truth, she would know if you're lying. Okay?" He nods and says, "Ok."

Yoongi clears his throat and says, "What's going on here?" Chaeyoung says while still holding Jimin, "Giving him a pep talk, so he can talk about his feelings. You know, a love confession." Yoongi's eyes start glowing red as Jimin turns intangible and Chaeyoung goes straight through him. He says, "Mina! I'm going to confess to Mina!" Yoongi cools down then says, "Cool, you two would make a good couple."

Jimin then asks Yoongi privately, "Do you have any good pick up lines? I should try throwing a joke in there, to set the vibe up." Yoongi thinks for a bit then says, "Hmm, I'm usually straight forward. But... How about, 'Our time here on Earth is temporary and we may live for a hundred years or barely a year. And, I would love to spend my time with you.'" Jimin gags and says, "Gross, that's cheesy." Yoongi pouts as he walks away.

Meanwhile, Mina stands around the corner smiling like an idiot. She mutters under her breathe, "I owe you one, Chaeng."

School soon goes by quickly as the final bell rings. Jimin leaves the classroom as soon as he hears the bell and makes his way to the gate. Everyone goes through this gate, so Mina is bound to pass by. As he leans on the wall keeping an eye on everyone who passes by so he doesn't miss Mina, a girl approaches him. She looks at him a smiles brightly so he waves at her awkwardly.

The bear looking girl says, "You're Park Jimin, right?" He nods and she says, "I heard you can disable powers for a little bit, right?" He nods again and she says, "Great! I know we just met, but my powers have been giving me this biggest headache. Do you mind doing your magic?" Jimin chokes on air then says, "How do you know your powers are giving you the headache?" She says, "Oh, I never introduced myself. I'm Seulgi. And, the nurse told me that was the problem and that only time and rest would help. But you can help soothe the pain, please~"

She says cutely which causes him to blush and he says, "Ok, give me your hand." Seulgi gives her hand questionably and he places a kiss on the back of her hand. She looks at her hand then says, "Whoa, it worked! Thank you so much! I'll pay you back one day!" She then joins her friends as she brags about her welfare.

Jimin chuckles at her cuteness then turns to see Mina staring at him with a blank expression. He starts to panic and says, "It's not what it looks like! I swear, I was just helping her feel better! WAIT, I SAID THAT WRONG! I was just providing her pleasure! OH NO! NOT LIKE THAT! She just... head.... I can explain, just hear me out."

Mina walks away trying to hold her laughter in front of the flustered boy. She starts walking as she receives a text.

She continues walking as she can sense that Jimin is following her. Mina walks into a cafe and sits by herself near the window. Jimin enters the cafe seconds later and spots her sitting alone. He joins her at the table as he says, "Do you mind?"

Mina shakes her head and he sits in front of her completely tense. She says, "Go ahead." Jimin asks confused, "Pardon?" Mina says, "You said you'll explain. Now explain to me, how you gave her pleasure."

Jimin burns up and says, "She just had a headache and the cause was her powers. I just disabled them temporarily." Mina chuckles and he looks at her questionably. Mina then says, "Good to know, I better get going now." Jimin says, "Wait! You weren't jealous?" She says, "Why should I, didn't you reject me just earlier today?"

He says, "Well, I take it back." Mina raises an eyebrow and says, "I'm not following? What do you mean, 'take it back'?" Jimin breathes in and out. He can't think of anything to say. Jimin tries to remember that cheesy pick up line Yoongi said but his mind is panicking. Mina stares at him with those beautiful eyes and it makes things worst.

Jimin utters, "We're all going to die. I love you!"

Mina breaks into laughter and says, "That's now how I remember Yoongi's pick up line." Jimin bows his head in embarrassment and says, "I'm nervous- Wait, I thought I was alone when I talked to him." Mina smiles brightly and says, "I have a pick up line for you. 'Mina, I'm sorry for being stupid. Be my girlfriend.'"

Jimin looks at her with a small smile creeping from his face. He says, "Hey Minari, I'm sorry. I was stupid and you're right. I love you. So would you do me the honor and be my girlfriend?"
