Chapter 19: Really? Is that it?

Jimin waits for Mina once again so he can walk her home. As he makes sure its Mina, they take the normal route to their house. Mina suddenly asks Jimin, "Did you ever kill anyone?" He doesn't make eye contact and is quick to respond, "Yes." Mina then says, "B-but you didn't want to right?" He remains quiet which creates an eerie atmosphere. Jimin says, "It was all the past, I regret every single decision I made and I'm trying to get over it." Mina nods and says, "So are you rich?" Jimin nods slightly as Mina cheers to herself.

However, as they're walking next to a familiar alleyway, Mina hears the same boy crying from last time. She turns to Jimin and says, "Do you hear that?" He turns and looks around then says, "Just ignore him, someone will help him." Mina tugs his arm and says, "Yeah, that someone is us." He stands still and says, "Mina... It could be dangerous."

She says, "That's exactly why we should help him. Jimin, if something happens to that boy, it'll be our fault. Let's go!" He gets dragged with Mina to the alleyway as she sees a boy crying. Mina says gently, "Hey, we're here to help. Tell us, what-" She pauses which gains Jimin's attention. The boy stops crying and Mina tells Jimin, "Run." He replies confused, "What?" Mina says, "I can't read his mind. RUN!"

Before they get the chance to run, a knife stabs Jimin by the side which causes him to fall to the ground. Mina crouches down while yelling, "JIMIN!" The man kicks her to the floor as the little boy transforms into a tall slender woman. Bambam steps on Jimin's wound which causes him to groan in pain. Lisa holds Mina back as Mina continues to struggle out of her grip. Mina yells, "YAH! STOP IT!"

Bambam takes his foot off Jimin as he nears Mina. Jimin says despite almost bleeding to death, "MINA! DON'T LOOK INTO HIS EYES!" She closes her eyes shut as she feels a cold hand cup her cheek. Bambam chuckles and says, "You had to find out soon. I don't know why but our boss is really interested in you. Maybe it's cuz he's never seen anyone with your powers but he wants to meet you. I don't think your boyfriend here would have let us taken you, so we had to erase him from the equation."

Mina says, "Don't lay a finger on him." Lisa places her head on Mina's shoulder and says, "Just come with us peacefully and we'll let him be. Simple as that." Mina tries to jerk her face to the right to place a kiss on Lisa but Bambam is quick to hold her still. He scoffs and says, "Ahh, I wonder why the boss told us not to kiss you. It's a shame, those lips are tempting but we should get going. He just arrived in Korea."

Mina glances at Jimin and says, "Wait, let me help him first." They soon hear police sirens and Bambam curses, "Dam that Jin. Don't worry, professionals will take care of him. We should get going." Lisa tosses Mina over her shoulder and they soon leave at the speed of light.

Jimin lays on the ground and soon passes out.

He awakens to Jin, Chaeyoung, and Yoongi sitting down near his hospital bed. He glances around which causes him to groan in pain. Jin says, "Calm down cowboy, you just got stabbed by a knife. What happened by the way?" Jimin says, "They took Mina."

Jin's eyes widened as Chaeyoung and Yoongi's attention is gained. Chaeyoung asks, "Who took Mina?" Jin rakes his hair back and says, "Why Mina?" Jimin says while closing his eyes, "And Boss is in Korea." Chaeyoung says annoyed, "What's going on? Were you two keeping a secret from us?"

Jimin sighs as he covers his eyes in regret and sadness while Jin explains the whole scenario. Chaeyoung says, "You two were being threatened and you didn't let us know!? We could have helped you!" Jimin says, "We didn't want to bring you two in this mess. We're trying to solve this without endangering more people." Chaeyoung stays quiet as she can't argue with his logic. Yoongi says, "Well, you brought Mina into it and now we are in. What do we have to do?"
