Chapter 21: Astronaut

As the new semester rolls in, everyone is seated as they wait for the new student. They're used to having new people come in because it was so frequent so news about a transfer student didn't shock anyone. The teacher walks in with a kind of tall guy who wore a box smile. He introduces myself, "Hello everyone, I'm Kim Taehyung. As for my powers... it's hard to explain but some call me a god."

Yoongi's head springs up from his table as he glances at the new kid. He seems... familiar.

Taehyung heads to an empty desk and the wink that he sends towards Chaeyoung's way doesn't go unnoticed. Yoongi glares at the new kid as Chaeyoung, being the polite girl she is, greets him back. Yoongi puts his head down to sleep but springs awake as he hears Taehyung talk.

With his deep and attracting voice, he asks Chaeyoung, "Hey, do you know any good places to eat?" Chaeyoung replies, "The cafeteria has great food." He chuckles and says, "Your cute. I was thinking outside of school though." She giggles as a slight blush shades her cheeks and she says, "Yeah, I know a few. I can give you directions if you want?" He looks at her confidently and says, "Or, you can show me yourself? After school?"

Chaeyoung then realizes his advances and says, "Oh, I have a-" Yoongi suddenly appears next to her table as he says, "She has a boyfriend." Taehyung looks at him and stands up to reveal that he's taller. He says, "Doesn't mean she can't hang out with me?" Yoongi retaliates, "It also means, stop flirting with her." Taehyung smirks at him and says, "I wasn't flirting. I'm just friendly." Yoongi shoves him lightly as he says, "Friendly my ass."

Chaeyoung whispers, "Yoongi stop, he has a point." This makes Yoongi angry as not only did the new kid just flirt with his girlfriend in front of his face but she's defending him. Taehyung then extends his hand and says, "Sorry, for the misunderstanding dude." Yoongi glares at him then slaps his hand away and proceeds to sleep on his desk. Chaeyoung tells Taehyung, "Sorry, about him. I am down to hang out this afternoon."

Yoongi perks his head up again as Chaeyoung looks at him. Her eyes says, "Stop it." So he sighs and places his head back down.

It soon becomes lunch and Yoongi sits down in his new spot away from the loud people. It's the same corner where Jimin brought him last time. Chaeyoung then joins him and he lets her sit. He usually intimidates others and lets them go but there's always an exception. She sits down across him and notices his attitude so she says gently, "Hey... Are you ok?" He nods as Chaeyoung says again, "You don't look ok, are you really ok?"

Before he could answer her again, Taehyung plops his tray on the table and asks, "Mind if I sit here?" Yoongi replies, "Yeah, I mind." While Chaeyoung says, "Make yourself comfortable." Yoongi sighs as Taehyung examines him from head to toe. Yoongi starts to feel uncomfortable and says, "I'm not into guys." Taehyung chuckles and says, "Oh, really? I was totally going to ask you out."

Yoongi rolls his eyes as Taehyung says, "Jokes aside. I think we've met before." Yoongi examines his face and says, "I think so too." Taehyung's eyes flash red which causes Yoongi to raise his eyebrow. They both stand as Taehyung continues to stare at him. Chaeyoung looks at the two confused. Mina and Jimin join them at a table with Jimin looking angry and Mina trying to get his forgiveness. Mina says, "Sorry, he looked like you from behind!" Jimin whines, "Maybe you should think twice before back hugging a random guy!" She replies, "I THOUGHT HE WAS YO-"She's suddenly interrupted as Taehyung flies into Yoongi causing them to fly out of the cafeteria. Chaeyoung looks at the gaping whole left on the wall as she recovers from her shock.

After a few thousand miles away, Yoongi breaks free from Taehyung as he charges him. Taehyung catches his arms and Yoongi chuckles. The two let go as Taehyung says, "Finally, I found you." Yoongi dusts the dirt off his clothes and says, "I thought I was the only one in the planet." Taehyung then says quietly, "You are... But, I've come to bring you home."

Yoongi smirks at him and says, "I'll tell you what I told the last messenger, I'm not coming back. So give up." He looks at the shorter and says, "This isn't like last time. Yoongi, you do know you're a prince." He sighs and says, "I was told I had an older brother. Just give it to him, I'm living my life happily here. And, I want to keep it like that." Taehyung says, "He's dead. They want you back and my one mission is to bring you back."

Yoongi says, "Too bad, I told them my life is here and my life is here. I can't just leave now. I have Chaeyoung and graduation coming up. I planned so much for my future and I'm not leaving because of the same family that left me here is begging for my help. Go home Taehyung." Taehyung sighs and says, "Yoongi. It's really different this time. I was given orders to kill anyone that stood in the way. I'm loyal to my planet, I can't just fail my mission like this."

The shorter looks at him questionably and says, "What are you trying to say?" Taeyhung looks down shamefully and says, "If Chaeyoung is the reason you aren't going back, I have to... get rid of her." Yoongi grabs him by the collar and says, "You're not laying a finger on Chaeyoung." Taehyung says, "That's why you have to come with me. I don't want to hurt anyone, I really don't."

He sighs and says, "How long did they give you?" Taehyung replies, "A month" Yoongi says, "And if you don't succeed?" He replies, "They get my head." Yoongi sighs and says, "Let's give it a month. But for the time being, don't mention this to anyone. There's a telepathic so don't even think about this. Most importantly, stay away from Chaeyoung." Taehyung bows and says, "Yes, my prince." Yoongi chuckles and says, "Shut up."
