Chapter 1: Dr. Myoui

Mina wakes up and makes her way down to the kitchen. As she senses someone's presence, she says out loud, "Chaeng, I didn't know you were visiting." Chaeyoung says, "Yoongi is on his way. I made breakfast now hurry up, we'll be late to school." Mina frowns and says, "I told you, I'm not going to school. I don't need it." The shorter groans, "Come on Mina, you can't stay in here for the rest of your life."

She complains, "You know how bad I am in crowded areas, sometimes I hear something I shouldn't have then I start to panic and lose control." Chaeyoung reassures her, "Don't worry, you have me and Yoongi. We'll protect you, I swear." Mina stares at her in her eyes and says, "If something bad happens, I'm leaving." Chaeyoung claps her hands and says, "Deal!"

After breakfast, Yoongi finally arrives and volunteers to fly both of them to school. Once they reach the school, Yoongi passes out and falls asleep. Chaeyoung carries him with her telekineses as the three move down the hall. Mina doesn't make eye contact with anyone and Chaeyoung starts to worry about her.

They reach their classrooms and Yoongi finally wakes up. Chaeyoung tells Mina, "Hey, if you're uncomfortable you don't need to do this." Mina breaks a smile and says, "I'll give it a try." The teacher walks in and everyone is seated. He says, "I see we have a new student. Please introduce yourself." He looks at Mina and she awkwardly walks to the front. Mina bows and says, "I'm Myoui Mina, nice to meet everyone." Then goes back to her seat. People start to whisper, "Who is she?" "What's her powers?" "She's gorgeous."

Mina controls herself and stays away from the mind. The teacher then says, "Ok let's begin the lesson." Mina ends up dozing off and day dreaming throughout the lesson because she's not used to this environment. She really never needed to study. The teacher then says, "So can anyone answer the question? How about the new kid, Mina?" Mina picks her head up and lazily looks at the board.

She doesn't know the answer but she doesn't need to. Mina quickly reads the minds of everyone in the room and says out loud, "14." The teacher nods and says, "Good job." The bell rings and they're off to lunch.

Mina sits with Chaeyoung and Yoongi as they're the only ones she knows. As the three sit, a sudden gust of wind blows Mina's hair up as she jumps in surprise. Chaeyoung smiles and says, "This is Momo. She's super fast." Momo looks at Mina and smiles genuinely as she says, "Nice to meet you."

Momo says in her mind, Wow, what a beautiful lady. I wonder if she has a girlfriend. Mina says out loud, "I don't have a girlfriend." Momo then replies, "Y-you read my mind?" She nods back and says, "It's one of my powers." Yoongi then awakens from his nap and says, "Wow, never seen anyone with those powers." Chaeyoung smiles proudly and brags to her two friends, "I told you she was awesome."

A loud crackle is heard from the distance and a tall man says, "Sorry everyone!" Mina looks at the accident and notices a group of people. Chaeyoung says, "Those are the top 5 of the class. The guy who just broke the concrete pillar is Namjoon, some call him the god of destruction."

Jihyo hisses, "I told you to not touch anything!" He rubs his nape and says, "There was a flyer for some concert, I wanted to keep it..." Chaeyoung continues, "That's Jihyo, top girl. She's got X-ray vision and super sight." Another guy walks in with a giant metal bar and replaces the pillar. Chaeyoung says, "That's Jungkook. Strongest guy in the school but terrible with girls." Mina jumps in shock as a guy walks through the metal pillar. Chaeyoung says, "That's Jimin. He can go intangible or phase through things."

Suddenly, a guy opens the door and light radiates all around him. Chaeyoung covers her eyes and says, "That's Hoseok. He's basically the sun, some call him an angel because of the light he makes." Mina asks, "So they're the smartest in the school?" The shorter nods and says, "Smartest and strongest. They won the last Tournament of Heroes, we call it TOH." Mina's mouth agapes and she says, "Wow, school sounds... fun." Momo quickly comes back with 3 trays of food and says, "We usually don't compete because our team is never strong enough and Yoongi doesn't want to join so what's the use."

Yoongi yawns and says, "Don't worry about the TOH, you should just enjoy the school life and have fun. It is your first time here." Mina nods and says, "You're right." Chaeyoung then says, "Speaking of fun, Yoongi and I wanted to watch a movie tonight. You want to come?" She raises an eyebrow and says, "Really?" The two nod and Mina happily accepts.

Meanwhile, Jimin joins his friends at the table. Jihyo and Jungkook are still teasing Namjoon for breaking the pillar while Hoseok watches them with a big smile. Namjoon notices that Jimin is with them and says, "So are you down to go tonight?" He shakes his head and says, "I'm busy tonight." Hoseok pouts and says, "You're always busy, it's just a movie." Jimin remains firm and says, "Sorry."

School soon ends and everyone goes to their activities. After Jimin bids good bye to his friends, he sneakily makes his way down an alley. It's a bad habit of his and he wants to end it. Jimin promised himself, this is the last job. Jin notices Jimin and says, "You're late but it's ok. He's not home yet." Jimin quickly puts a mask and cap on then says, "Last one, I mean it." The older smirks and says, "Don't worry. In and out, that easy. I'm sure after this one, we'll be set for life."

Jimin nods and makes his way to the mansion like house. Jin speaks through his earpiece and says, "There's a guard on the main entrance, just go through the west wall." Jimin phases through the wall and into the manor. Jin says, "Go crazy, get the small but valuable ones. I'll worry about selling them."

Jimin starts to walk around and notices the several artifacts encased in glass. He glances at the paintings and asks, "Jin, is this some sort of museum?" He replies, "No, it's someone's house. He collects Japanese antiques and paintings. I forgot his name, Minyu something." Jimin starts to pocket the jewels and small antiques. Jin says through the earpiece, "Jimin, you- leave- Jim-...."

Jimin says, "Jin? You there? I can't hear you." He sighs as he lost the signal and begins to make his way out. He hears a voice say, "What are you doing here, you shark?" Jimin pauses but quickly notices that he wasn't talking to him. Another man says, "Just paying a visit, friends can visit. Can't they?"

Jimin peaks at the two and notice the old men talking. The man in a suit says, "I wonder why the boss of YGI, randomly shows up in the middle of the night. I told you I won't interfere with your plans as long as you don't touch my family." YG says, "Yeah, you said you weren't going to interfere but it bothers me. It bothers me that there's a family line that can't be affected by my powers. Don't you hate the feeling of not being able to control someone?"

The man scoffs and says, "Who exactly am I speaking to? Is this YG or are you just using him?" YG chuckles and says, "I'm sorry, love. There's some loose ends I need to cut before my plan goes in motion." He turns and says, "Jennie, kill this man." The man looks at him disgusted and says, "You monster, you're controlling young girls too? How far are you going to go?" YG laughs evilly and says, "I'll go as far as it takes, Junho."

Dr. Myoui quickly encircles Jennie in a field breaking her connection with YG. She quickly knocks out inside the circle and YG gnarls at him. But, his eye catches a spectator behind him. Jimin makes eye contact and tries to run away but his body doesn't listen to him. Dr. Myoui doesn't expect him so he gives his full attention towards YG.

Jimin tries to warn him but he can't talk. He can't do anything but watch. His arm turns intangible and goes through Dr. Myoui's chest. A few seconds later, the doctor falls to the ground with a hole in his chest. YG says, "Thank you boy, I couldn't have done it without you." The house alarm starts to sound and YG picks up Jennie and says, "Till we meet again." He then leaves the manor with no trace and Jimin starts to panic and run away.
