Chapter 12

Recently Oikawa had been hearing strange rumours. They were extremely wild. Things like 'did you hear about that Mina girl? Apparently, she likes Iwaizumi and not Oikawa- hah ridiculous.

Mina had totally confessed to him which means it's completely untrue... Right?

He glanced at Iwaizumi who was unaware of the rumours. He looked like he hadn't slept and was sandwiching his face between his desk and his textbook.

"Iwa-chan you haven't been right recently...", Oikawa started.

"Shut it Oikawa", Oikawa almost gasped. It must've been serious if he called him by his real name.

"Come on lets go annoy Mina!" He grabbed a shrieking Iwaizumi and dragged him to her class.

"Mina!", he smiled when he saw her. It was like he felt slightly lighter. Strange?

Mina on the other hand was talking to Sora, the class president, enjoying their conversation, and her mood dampened when her name was called. Almost like seeing a rainbow and then thunder.

Oikawa felt a strange irritation when he saw the boy and almost glared at him. But before he could approach her he was ambushed by her classmates who pushed Iwaizumi towards her.

Innocent Iwaizumi who didn't see anything coming stumbled towards Mina, his head bumped on her shoulder.

So soft.

He lifted his head, his face almost touching Minas. His face quickly flamed up and he stood jumped back.

"Eh-o-s-sorry Mina", he stuttered.

"Oh! Iwaizumi are you okay?", Mina got up slightly startled at the incoming boy.

"yeah I'm fine", Iwaizumi found himself moving away almost unable to make eye contact, unknowingly he gave off a cold air to the girl who gazed at him with wonder.

"Iwaizumi? Are you okay? Are you sick?", Mina felt worry bubble within her as she approached the spiky haired brunette. She lifted her hand to feel his temperature but he pulled away from her.

"Eh-oh -Sorry", she looked down at her at shoes upset, it felt like heart strings were being pulled harshly. A sharp sting hit her throat.

After that Iwaizumi seemed to avoid her. No eye contact, no general greeting, nothing...

He left the room while everyone was keeping Oikawa busy.
