Chapter 25

"So get a rebound" the silent 'duh' in the sentence could be heard for miles. Mina's mother might not have been the best person to come to.

"You don't just buy a rebound mom!" Mina exclaimed and her mother raised a brow.

"You know plenty of boys just take your pick" she stated it like it was obvious to do.

"But I... kinda want a break from boys.., I just want to focus on me" she stated in melancholy. Her mother hummed approvingly in reply.

"That's a good answer..."her mother smiled as she drank the last of her floral tea.

Mina just kinda avoided Oikawa and the volleyball club in general. Whenever she'd catch sight of him among a crowd of girls she'd take an opposite turn. It was mentally draining.

When Iwaizumi dumped her she didn't care too much but with Oikawa she felt a lessened appetite. A sense of eternal darkness. She had to get rid of this.

She walked outside her classroom needing the restroom only to catch sight of Oikawas brown hair and instinctively did a 180 degrees only to bump into a hard chest.

"S-Sorry Mina" she recognised the voice. As if this couldn't get any worse.

"Iwaizumi sorry I turned so suddenly" she bowed slightly but her arm was gripped by him suddenly.

"Can we talk?" He said surprising her and the brunette behind her that pretended not to notice them.

He clicked his tongue and scowled. Following his elaborate facial expression with a dejected sigh. He had no right to be mad.

Iwaizumi lead Mina to the roof top. The light breeze had no effect on his hair as always but Minas hair followed in its direction. Messily.

"Is it alright if I ask you on a date?".
