I am so sorry i havent uploaded strictly because my internet has been utter crap lately so i am uploading now while it is being nice!
Chapter 15
We were all out in the car-park talking. Philip had wrapped his jacket around me while I cuddled up to him and I noticed that Gia was having a heated discussion with Tay.
“Soph you must come to Uncle Frank’s barbeque next weekend” Dana said slightly tipsy. I smiled
“I would love to but I have plans sorry” I said lying. I wasn’t ready for another family event
“Well another time then” she winked and hugged us before Alan ushered her off.
“Plans huh?” Philip asked pulling me around to face him. I nodded before kissing his cheek. He smirked and wrapped his arms around me tighter. Taylor and Gia made their way back over
“I honestly thought you could do better Philip” I turned to Gia and saw Taylor ready to say something
“Funny I said the same thing to Taylor” I retorted causing Philip to chuckle. I grabbed his hand and pulled him towards his car.
“Take me home gorgeous” I winked and he grinned. We got into the car and he drove me home. We walked up to the front door and he looked at me. I handed him back his jacket and he slipped it on
“I did have fun. Even though I wasn’t ready to meet them. They seem so nice” I said folding my arms
‘I am so sorry again. Mum pretty much dived on me when I said I was seeing someone” he said
“That’s ok” I said shrugging
“You met my family so it was only fair” I replied realising that he might have been nervous about meeting Jaime.
“So do you really have plans this weekend?” he asked
“Yeah... do you want to have plans with me?” I asked. He nodded and then he got a serious look on his face. He bent his head and his lips very lightly grazed my own. I couldn't help the fire that brewed in my belly when he kissed me. I responded to his kiss which became deeper. It was our first kiss and I loved it. When he pulled away he was grinning
“I’ll call you later” he said still cupping my cheek and then kissing once more before leaving. I couldn't wipe the smile as I watched him drive off
“I’m not interrupting am I?” A voice in the dark asked. I turned and saw Taylor there with his hands in his pockets.
“Taylor? What are you doing here?” I asked
“You want to go for a drive with me?” he asked softly. I bit my lip and looked at the door before sighing and walking back down the steps. We walked to his car which was parked down the street and went for a drive. We ended up in the park that I used to visit all the time that was just outside of town. He parked under a street lamp and got out. I presumed I needed to as well. I walked around to the bed of his truck and climbed up to join him
“What’s up?” I asked eventually
“I’m sorry for how Gia treated you today. I have never heard her speak like that before”
“Don't worry about it honestly. I remember She-Bitch” I pointed out. he sent me a mock glare but smiled
“Yeah I bumped into her a few months ago”
‘How is she?”
“Pregnant and married” he said smiling
“I am actually happy for her” I said surprising myself
