Chapter 19 - Missed Calls

Rissa's Pov 

The first movie we watched, ended up being "The Greatest Showman", which is a movie we both love! The songs are just amazing! After that we watched a few mystery movies and even Tangled! I couldn't believe that he put that in, even though I love the movie so much! We actually just finished Tangled and I'm still fangirling about how amazing it was. It's the best Disney princess movie.

I reach over for some more popcorn only to see that the bowl is now empty. I get up, moving out of Jase's embrace while grabbing the now empty bowl. "Hey where are you going?" Jase asks. "I going to make some more popcorn. Do you want anything?" I reply. He gets up and walks over to me, "No, I don't need or want anything else but you next to me," he says leaning down to kiss me.

I love this man so much! "I'm only going to the kitchen for 2 minutes you don't have to follow me there!" I say laughing, once we pull away from each other. "But 2 minutes is too long!" he whines before chuckling softly, "plus I'm actually going to go get my phone from the lounge. It must be done charging by now."

Damn! Now that I think about it, "I haven't checked my phone all day!" I tell him. I reach over to my bedside for it and see that the battery is dead. "Shit, Jase can I borrow your charger?"

In reply he grabs the bowl from my hands. "How about this, I'll go sort out the popcorn while you go get the charger and sort out your phone. My phone should be done by now so you can just grab it and bring it back here please," he says starting to walk towards the door. I shake my head in response before following him out of the room.

He hasn't wanted to leave me alone the whole day and you may think that him acting like this would start to annoy me but after the past few days, I don't really want to be away from him either.

I head over to the lounge and reach the charger just as I hear the microwave turn on. I unplug the charger, Jase's phone turning on as I do so.

I'm about to switch it off when I see something that shocks me. In his notifications are 23 missed calls all from the same person. "Jase?" I call out to him, walking over to the kitchen quickly. I'm confused as to why they tried to call Jase so many times in the span of one day.

"Ris? Everything okay?" he asks concerned when he sees my expression. "Justin tried calling you 23 times."

His eyes widen. "23 times? What why?" he says in shock. I hand him his phone and he goes straight to Justin's contact and tries phoning him. "The number you have dialed is currently busy. Please try again later."

I hope everything's okay. I see Jase try again and I go back to the room to check on my phone. I put it on charge and turn it on and see that not only Justin had been trying to get ahold of me too, but Lexi as well! There's over 50 missed calls on my phone.

Just then I here someone knocking on the door. "Jase?" I call out. "I got it babe," is his reply as I try to phone Lexi. I hear Jasons footsteps and the door open. "Justin! I was just trying to call you! What the hell happened?" I hear Jason exclaim loudly. Justin's here!

I cut the call and put my phone down but before I could even exit the room I hear my cousin's voice. "JASON! WHY THE HELL WERE YOU NOT ANSWERING YOUR DAMN PHONE! I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM RISSA! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO! SHE'S MESSEGED ME EVERYDAY AND THEN NOTHING YESTERDAY! LAST WAS THE OTHER MORNING! AND ALL MY CALLS AREN'T GOING THROUGH!"

Oh no! With all the things that happened with Jase yesterday and today I completely forgot to message him! I feel so bad!

Jase's Pov

"JASON! WHY THE HELL WERE YOU NOT ANSWERING YOUR DAMN PHONE! I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM RISSA! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO! SHE'S MESSEGED ME EVERYDAY AND THEN NOTHING YESTERDAY! LAST WAS THE OTHER MORNING! AND ALL MY CALLS AREN'T GOING THROUGH!" Justin screams out.

Shit! Rissa must've forgotten to let him know what happened!" Justin, calm down! You don't have to worry Rissa is-"I say before I'm cut of by more yelling.

" CALM DOWN! CALM DOWN, JASON! I HAVE NO FREAKING CLUE WHERE THE HELL MY COUS- MY SISTER IS AND I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM HER IN ABOUT 48 HOURS AND YOU WANT ME TO CALM DOWN!"

I get why he is so worried but sometimes Justin really needs to learn when to shut up and listen! I try again, "No Justin, I'm trying to tell you that Ris and I - "

"JASON, I KNOW THAT YOU AND HER ARE FIGHTING! BUT IF YOU REALLY DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT HER SAFETY RIGHT NOW THEN I'M STARTING TO REGRET JUST LETTING YOU OFF WITH A SINGLE PUNCH THE OTHER-"

"JUSTIN!" A voice cuts through his shouting and instead of it been mine it's my princess. Justin's head snaps to our right where Ris is standing in the doorway looking at him bewildered. "Justy, I love you but would you just listen. Jase was trying to say that I'm here!" she says exasperated.

He stands still staring at her and I see her resolve breaking as she runs towards him and the siblings embrace each other in front of me. I lean back against the wall I'm standing next to and decide to shoot Lexi a quick message letting her know that Rissa and I are okay and we're both here in case she's freaking out.

I glance at Rissa one more time, before leaving the room. These 2 are the closest cousins I've ever seen, even closer then Jess and I know he's been worried sick about her. I don't want to intrude in their moment.

Long time no see, well for AN's anyway.

Hope you guys are enjoying! I just wanted to let you'll know that I'm having a slight problem with the chapter ordering of Stay Or Sing. I'm not exactly sure why they keep getting mixed up but I can't seem to get them in order as of right now.
