- Lam's POV -
I wake up and immediately feel better. Caldon and William are staring at me in wonder. "Um... what happened when I was out?" I ask. "Dr. Annice here took a blood test on you. Aaaaand we found out you are a newblood." Caldon explains. A newblood? "What!?" I yell. "Yeah, and you have powers that no other newblood has had... until now." William says. Am I dreaming? I repeat my question out loud. They both laugh. "No, you are not." Caldon says, reaching for my hand. He squeezes it and that is all it takes to reassure me.
I look at the blood test to see for myself. "This is amazing, but why did I wake up, all better?" I say. Caldon answers: "You sort of shot fire from one hand then ice from the other and woke up." "You had been out for 2 weeks including today." William forms me. Two weeks? I have the best friend and boyfriend ever, if you can call Caldon my boyfriend.
- Caldon's POV -
L looks so cute when she's surprised. And she has been surprised a lot lately. William is explaining what happened while she was asleep. "Am I dreaming?" L asks us. "No, you are not." I reply, squeezing her hand. She seems to calm down after that.
L's mother looks even more surprised than all of us (William, L, and I) combined. "A-a newblood?" She asks. "Yes, L is a newblood." William clarifies. L's little brother, Tanz walked up to the raised house. We explain the whole thing to him again. "Well where is she?" Tanz questions. "If you want to see her, you can follow us."
