The door swings inward on oiled hinges. William whistles. "Nice, isn't it." I tell him. "Just needs some homey touches." He replies. The front door opens into the main living and dining room, with the kitchen to the left and a bathroom to the right. To the back of the kitchen is the bedroom. William follows me to the bedroom. He walks toward the sliding glass doors and steps out out onto the porch. "I could stand here all day and watch the people walk by." He says, gesturing to the people on the streets below. The studio is on top of a little café. "Where are you staying?" I ask him. "Currently in the guest room in Avria's house." He says. "But have you been looking at all?" I ask. "No..." He trails off. "I can get you in touch with the agent who showed me this house." "I would like that."
- William's POV -
After scoping out Caldon's new base, I head to the Barrow-Calore household. I knock on the door and L stands in the frame. "Come in!" She says, stepping back. I follow her inside and gaze around. To my left is another room, accessible through a plain wooden door. All around, there are other similar doors marking the entrances to various rooms. In front of me is a small room with a large square arch on every side. In the middle of the 'room' is a dining table with 4 seats arranged around it and a high chair for a child in the corner. "Oh! How's your mom doing?" I ask L, realizing why the high chair is there. "She's good." L replies. "Although her stomach I very swollen." I hear noises coming from behind the third door on the left. I walk over, and L opens the door for me. Inside, I see Cal rearranging the tiny furniture. "Welcome!" Cal calls when he sees me. "Is this the baby's room? I ask. "Yeah." He answers. "This door leads to our bedroom so we can check in on Shade often." He says, gesturing. "Shade is going to be his name." L whispers to me.
