Chapter 3

Sean's POV

I looked around sa bahay namin which is so quiet.

Maybe tulog pa kase si lola. My grandmother has an illness and I don't know if maniniwala ako sa sinabi ng doctor which he told me that she has only a year here in the world.

It's not like I really don't believe him, I was just. I don't know, hindi ko lang talaga matanggap na ang lola na nagmahal sakin ng sobra ay mawawala nalang sakin ng bigla.

"Oh Sean, andito ka na pala. How's the company?" my grandmother said from behind.

I looked back and saw her smiling at me.

"It's good Lola. How about your health? Are you eating your meals? Your medicines?" sabay sabay na tanong ko and she just laughed.

"Hinay hinay lng apo, mahina ang kalaban." I laughed.

"Oo, kumakain ako sa tamang oras and I also take my medicines." she continued.

Buti naman kase I was worried na baka hindi na naman niya ginawa yun. May pagka pasaway kase si lola eh.

"By the way apo, have you think of my wish? Will you fulfill it?" she said with a puppy eyes and I can't help but smile.

She always do it whenever she wants me to do something.

I don't know why she wants me to do it for my parents told me that my lolo cheated on my mother long time ago so they separated. And now she wants me to find my lolo?

And where the hell will I find him?

"Why lola? He cheated on you so why do you want me to find him?" I asked while looking straight to her eyes.

I don't know if I was mistaken but I think a tear escaped from her eyes.

Ganun ba kahalaga si lolo sa kanya na kahit niloko sya gusto parin niya itong makasama?

"Apo, it's just that I miss him so much. Its been 15 years since we last saw each other. Gustong gusto ko na siyang makita apo. Even though he cheated on me, I still love him and no man can replace him." she said and she can't hamper her tears anymore. She cried in front of me and it was the first time I saw her cry.

For the first time in my life I saw my lola cry and that is when I finally made up my mind.

"I promise Lola, I will find him." Inangat niya ang ulo niya, pumunta sakin at niyakap ako. She sobbed and I can't help but smile.

Maybe you're wondering why? It is because it was the first time she asked for a big wish to me and I think she trusted me.

"But we have a problem lola, I don't know where he is or kahit lugar man lang kung saan siya huling tumira, wala akong alam lola." I said then she let go of the hug and looked straight to my eyes.

"I know where is the last place he went to but that was very long time ago. Pumunta siya sa somewhere Northern Luzon, I think sa Baguio. That is all I know." she said seriously.

Okey. I think that is enough for now.

But wait. I don't know what his name is.

I was about to ask it when she talked.

"Fred Vasquez apo." she said and I was shocked. Did she just read my mind?

"Hindi apo, your face's expression tells me so." again, she answered and laughed.

Well, I gues lola is a mind reader now.

I laughed with her and we hugged each other again.

After how many minutes, she let go and I went to my room where I left my phone.
