"Tell me exactly what happened." Alby said, his voice harsh and demanding. Riley threw a sideways glance at Newt, who nodded encouragingly. Easy enough for him to do. He wasn't the one sat in front of a very angry Alby, who's anger seemed to be directed at Riley although she didn't even do anything.

"Okay, so I woke up, and I felt something in my gut, like something was about to happen and-"

"How did you know something was about to happen?" Alby interrupted, frowning.

Riley sighed. "Jeez, you get all mad and ask me to tell you the story, then you go and interrupt me after one sentence. Make up your mind, dude." Minho stiffled a laugh from the corner, but was quickly silenced with a warning glance from Alby.

Alby looked like he was either going to shout or throw a chair, but instead, took a deep, shaky breath. "Just carry on, greenbean."

"Whatever. And, by the way, I'm no longer the greenbean, Thomas is. So it'd be really nice if you could call be my actual name, thanks. So, anyway, I got up and walked round the perimiter of the glade, to aviod the rest of you Gladers, to the deadheads. And I saw Thomas go in, and a second later, Ben. So, I followed, still with that feeling something serious was about to go down." Riley paused, making sure Alby was still with her.

"Okay." he rolled his hand in a 'keep going' gesture. His face was blank and expressionless. Newt leaned forward, clearly interested, and Minho looked kind of bored, like he really couldn't be bothered with it.

"So, I sat and waited. Thomas wasn't doing anything, just sitting there beside the graves, and then Ben came from nowhere. He looked kind off... well, insane. He started going on with this talk about how Thomas made this whole thing, that it was all his fault. I was kind of frozen. He lunged and Thomas, and they like, started wrestling on the floor. It was like I had suddenly forgotten how to move. Finally, I got my act together, and jumped out, shoving Ben off Thomas and then..."

Riley stopped, her breathing shaky as she recounted what had happened. What had happened next had shaken her up, badly. It didn't make sense, but why would Ben have lied about that, no matter how delusional he was at the time?

"And Ben said that Thomas had killed my sister. I didn't know what he was on about, but, whatever. He shoved me away, and started fighting again. And then you guys turned up."

"You have a sister?" Alby frowned.

"I don't kno-"

Riley didn't have a chance to finish her sentence, before she fell sideways from the chair, a series of blinding light flashing before her, before darkness finally overtook her.

"Tag!" The little girl giggled. She had sparkling blue eyes that glinted as she looked up at Riley, a content, cheeky grin on her face. Her hair was a chesnut colour, a dimple showing as she smiled. She looked about six or seven. "You're it!" She took of running through the meadow.

"Not fair!" Riley complained, running after the little girl. She laughed as the girl ducked beneath her arm, and ran behind a tree. Riley crossed her arms, pretending to be oblivious as to where she was hiding. "Oh, no, where did Izzy go?" She asked, playfully.

Tne little girl came charging out from her hiding spot, jumping on Riley, sending them both to the ground. "Rawr!" She cried, laughing. "I scared you, Riley!"

"Yeah. Yeah, you did, little sis." The love on Riley's face was clear as she hugged the little girl tight, before tickling her until she squealed and ran away again.
