Thank you guys for sticking to this story for so long, and I apologize that I didn't update for so long.
Three days went by quick, mainly because you slept straight through them. You were allowed back to the dorms and into class, but you had to sit out on hero studies, having to take it easy for at least a week. Getting dressed was a little hard since too much movement made the pain spike through your back, but you were able to pull on the uniform before grabbing your bag.
You used Bakugou's spare satchel since it didn't stress out your back, slinging the strap over your shoulder before walking out of your room. Getting into the elevator, you rode it down to the ground floor, the metal door sliding open to let the normal sound of Iida yelling fill your ears.
"How many times do I have to tell you not to sit on the couch like that?!" He called out, a smile breaking out on your face as you walk into the living room. "Your not showing it proper respect. Get off immediately."
Turning the corner, you found Iida chopping the air in front of Kaminari, who was piratically laying on the back of the couch. He only yawned in response to his outburst, resulting in Iida to go into a rant about disrespect and how he was the class rep. You chuckle softly, heading for the kitchen when you felt an arm gently wrap around your waist from behind, calloused hands holding your hips.
"Good morning." You grin, turning your head to see a grumpy Bakugou, who was glaring at Iida in irritation.
"It's too early for this shit." He mumbled, before looking down at you, his scowl disappearing almost instantly.
He quickly captured your lips, catching you by surprise, but you didn't care as you kissed him back, closing your eyes. You enjoyed his surprisingly soft lips, roughly pushing on your own, demanding that you return the kiss, which you did with a smile.
"Ahem." Someone cleared their throat, making you two pull away and look at Iida. "Not to interrupt, but there are not to be any public displays of affection in the common room. It's disrespectful to everyone else who isn't in a relationship."
"Do you still have that stick up your ass?" Bakugou sneered, not letting you go and he was actually pretty calm while holding you.
Iida was taken aback, Bakugou turning you around and kissed you again, just to spite him, the blue haired male at a lost for words before walking off, mumbling about disrespect and foal language. When the kiss broke, you couldn't help but laugh, Bakugou watching you with a soft smile as you laughed in his arms.
"Oh, isn't love amazing?!" You heard Mina squeal, your laughter stopping and your head turned to look at her, your face burning a little. "He makes her so happy. And she calms him down so quickly. Earlier he was yelling at Deku about something, but now he's smiling!"
She practically jumped for joy, a wide grin on her face as she pocketed her phone, Bakugou growling a little before he lowered his head and rest it on your shoulder. He really couldn't care less what the others thought, he just wanted to hold you, his room feeling lifeless without you there.
"Katsuki." You chuckle, receiving a hum of acknowledgement. "We should probably start heading to class."
He sighed, before standing, lifting your head and kissed you again, trying to make up for all the times he missed. You melt and lean on his chest, taking in his warmth as his arms held you, making you feel safe and loved. Breaking the kiss, Bakugou rest his forehead on yours, looking into your (e/c) eyes for a second before letting you go and backing up. You smile brightly, your heart hammering hard in your chest, before heading for the door, Bakugou walking beside you, calm and just seemed tired.
Once on the path to the school, you felt a calloused hand wrap around yours, your eyes looking down to see that he was holding your hand in a gentle grip. You squeeze his hand and got closer to him, your shoulder almost touching his arm as you two walk in comfortable silence to your first class.
Class that day was uneventful. Bakugou did have a lot less outburst than usual though, but in hero training, he was like he was before. Another wall was singed from his latest attack, cursing under his breath for missing his target. It was yet another, hero vs. villains course, and Bakugou was a hero who had to capture the villain before they reached the exit. Tsuyu was having a hard time dodging his blast, jumping from wall to wall in the maze of a building that they were both placed in. It changed with each round, and they were put in random parts of the maze to make it simulate more like a real battle.
You watched from cameras that were placed in the maze, half of them destroyed from either Tsuyu knocking them down in her rush, or Bakugou destroying the area they were. Bakugou was right on her heels, and Tsuyu was heading straight for a dead end, the blonde yelling at her to get back there and fight. The only ways for the villain to win is if they knock out the hero, trap them or escape the maze, the hero winning if they got out the maze before the villain or caught them. She soon reached the dead end, but her face held no worry as she turned around, Bakugou smiling almost insanely as he cornered her.
Getting closer and readying a blast, Tsuyu jumped at the last second, propelling off the wall went flying toward Bakugou. He dodged her attack and grabbed her arm, Tsuyu calling out as she was yanked back, the capture tape wrapping around her body. She sat on the ground, looking up at Bakugou as he stood over her, victorious of succeeding his objective. You smile, finding the way Bakugou fought exciting, how he smiled when he fought, like he knew exactly how everything was going to go down.
They were brought back, Tsuyu only having a bruise or two, while Bakugou was unscathed, his face now in a scowl as his eyes scanned the observing room. You smile as you walk up to him, his scowl now nonexistent as a smile spread across his face when he saw your eyes were filled with excitement. He always showed off when ever he knew you were watching, loving the ways your eyes shined with admiration and wonder.
"That was awesome, Katsuki." You grin, making more pride to fill his heart along with something else.
You hug his neck and kissed him, Bakugou holding your waist, being gentle with you so he wouldn't aggravate your back. Everyone in the room watched with smiles on their faces, before turning away and returning to preparing for the next round. Whenever you kiss the blonde, you seem to forget the world and everything you've been through, only remembering Bakugou. His soft hair, shinning, crimson red eyes and his rough hands, trying to be gentle like you were going to break. But there was something nagging at you from the back of your mind, something that made you doubt everything that was going on. Something that was only going to get harder to ignore.
Thank you for being so patient. I'm so sorry. I hadn't been feeling my best and only recently have gotten a hold of myself. Hope you liked it.
Now stay tuned for a Christmas, soulmate AU special.
