Family Day

"Momma!" a little voice half whispered half yelled into Brie's ear, trying to wake her up

Brie just groaned in response and whispered go away before playfully shoving her daughter off of her.

The little girl fell butt on the floor and huffed, crossing her arms and pouting

"But I wanna make breakfast for mommy!" she whispered and got up to shake her, ready to annoy her until she gave up and followed her to the kitchen

Brie whined and turned back to her daughter "Why don't you ever make breakfast for me?" she complained before giving up and getting off the bed

Before leaving the room she kissed Y/N on the forehead and smiled at how cute she looked when she was sleeping, the covers covering you up to your nose.

"Mommy is much nicer than you" little Ariana replied to her sarcastic question once Brie was out of the room and closed the door

"That's not true!" Brie gasped in fake hurt and put her hand on her chest, pretending to cry

"You don't love your momma! You are not nice to me!" Brie exclaimed dramatically making Ariana laugh at her

Brie winked at her and helped her sit on the kitchen counter before getting all the ingredients they needed to make Y/N breakfast

"You're a lot cooler though" she said, winking at her mother

"I know" Brie replied with a smug look on her face and high fived her

"Wanna help me with this?" Ariana nodded her small little head and jumped off the counter, excited to help

The smell of something burning woke Y/N up. She at first thought she was dreaming, but the commotion downstairs proved her otherwise. Her eyes snapped oped and she jumped out of bed, running down the stairs as fast as possible.

She calmed down once she took in the scene before her

"You burned them!" Ariana blamed Brie with tears in her eyes, turning her back on her

"Baby, I'm sorry. You know I'm not a great cook. That's why I think from now on you should wake up your mommy and have her help you make breakfast for me" she apologized, feeling sorry for making her cry, and tried to crack a smile from her, which worked

Ariana smiled a little and sniffled, reaching for a tissue to wipe her nose

"Yes, you are terrible at cooking" she chuckled and held out her arms towards her, wanting Brie to take her up in her arms

She did and both started making the pancakes again, intent on making the best breakfast Y/N had ever had

"What's the occasion?" Y/N asked, leaning on the doorframe and smiling at them

Ariana immediately jumped off Brie's arms and ran to hug her as soon as she saw her

"Mommy!"

"We were in the middle of something!" Brie sing songed pointing to the pancakes but Ariana just ignored her and kept hugging her mommy's legs

"I'm really starting to think she loves you more" she joked and shook her head as Y/N made her way to her and kissed her good morning, with Ariana still attached to her legs

"Nonsense. She loves you just as much. Isn't that right, little munchkin?" Ariana nodded and went to hug Brie's legs instead

"Oh! So now I'm getting hugs, too!" she laughed and attacked her, her hands tickling her sides

"I'm sorry! I-I love you, too!" Ariana screamed between laughters as Brie stopped tickling her and started kissing her all over her face

"Bleah!"

"What? You don't like my kisses anymore?" Brie asked her kissing her one more time before Y/N stopped her

"Brie, love?"

"Yes?"

"The pancakes" she whispered pointing with her finger to the burning pancakes in the frying pan

"Shit!" she cursed, earning a smack on the head from her wife

"What's shit?" Ariana innocently asked looking at her mother's, whose eyes widened, not knowing what to say

"It's something you can never say. If I hear you say it, you'll be grounded for the rest of your life" Y/N tells her before glaring at Brie, who was scratching the back of her neck and mouthed 'sorry' 

"Even when I'm an adult?"

"Yes"

Ariana nodded and tucked Brie's pants, making her look down at her

"Yes, sweetie?"

"Does she ground you, too?" Brie looked up at Y/N with a knowing look and a smirk on her face

"All the time. But it's totally worth it" Y/N immediately blushes, knowing well what she meant

The two women spent the entire day playing with their daughter. They also watched a movie, which Ariana didn't like claiming it was too childish.

When both Brie and Y/N had a Day off, they made sure to spend every second with their daughter, enjoying their family day.

After completely wearing Ariana out, they tucked her in and read her a story

"So the brave knight said Do not fear my love! I'm here to save you! Seriously?! He's known her for like two minutes! And what is he gonna do with a sword against a dragon? I swear they should really make up better stories" Brie commented making Ariana laugh and Y/N agree with her

What Ariana liked most of reading nights was her momma commenting everything she read

"Then you make one up!" Arianna exclaimed throwing herself on her to hug her

"Yeah, you do that" Y/N said cuddling up to her daughter

"Ok, fine. How do you want it to be?" Brie asked caressing her head before smacking Y/N on the head

"Ew! You know I hate when you lick me!" she said wiping the spot where Y/N licked her against her

"I beg to differ" she teases and blows her a kiss when Brie called her a child

Ariana laughed again. She loved these family moments and wished she could get more of them, but with both her moms working, it unfortunately could not happen

"I want action and dragons and pirates and warriors!" Ariana exclaimed while making exploding sounds and jumping on the bed

Both women laughed

"Ok, little one! I get it!" she chuckled and put her back under the covers

"So let me think... I got it! So, Once upon a time..." Brie began and soon their little treasure fell asleep in both her mothers' hold
