It was quiet day today in Hala. There were no injured, no people seeking for help for something as simple as a headache. All was well and you were enjoying those moments of peace and rest sipping on your tea.

But, of course, all good things tend to end sooner rather than later. As you were about to finish a very interesting chapter of your book, Yon-Rogg bursted through your door, a young, unconscious woman in his arms.

You instantly stood up and greeted him, looking at the woman in confusion.

"Lay her down and tell me what happened." you told him, pointing to the bed next to you.

"Strip her of her memories." he simply replied, you giving him a weird look

"I'll explain later. Just do it." he growled at you and you nodded, not wanting to face the man's anger.

As you started the procedure, you noticed the soft glow in her hands. It mesmerized you. It was some kind of gold and blue flame, floating around the woman's hand. It was one with her and you realized it was actually surrounding her whole body.

You could feel Yon-Rogg's hard glare burning through your skull, so you shook your head and started the procedure. Her body awakened by the sudden shock, her mouth releasing a blood-curdling scream that shook your entire being.

You hated doing this. You were a doctor. You healed pain not inflicted it. You clentched your eyes shut when her back arched to an impossible angle, her screaming not stopping even for one second. You opened your eyes again only when the screaming finally stopped, seeing her unconscious again, slumped against the bed.

"Did it work?" Yon-Rogg asked, reaching your side.

"It should have. We will see once she wakes up." you reply, detaching the cables from her head, looking down at her pale face.

Your head unconsciously rested against her cheek but immediately pulled it back, hoping Yon-Rogg did not notice.

"Good. Y/N, one more thing." he said

"Yes?"

"I believe you have noticed the glow emanating from her body?" you nodded.

"That's the power of the energy core we were looking for. She blasted it to existence and absorbed its power. She would be a great asset to our army." he explained

"What do I have to do with this?" you asked, not getting your part in all of this

"She will need to learn to control it, as well as we."

"We?" he nodded

"I need you to build a device that could limit her power and give us the ability to turn it off if we deem it necessary. With a power like that she could be very dangerous, we need to take precautions."

"So, basically, you want me to make her your own toy to play with?" you raised your eyebrow at him and crossed your arms.

His eyebrow twitched in anger but he kept his cool, taking a deep breath to calm himself down.

"This is an order, Y/N. Fail to comply and you will face death right in its eyes." he growled out and you nodded hesitantly, turning for a brief moment to the woman laying on the bed.

"Good. Now, I believe that that much power will crush her in her human body. She needs to be reborn as one of us." he says, getting closer to the woman, his hands behind his back, a sinister smirk plastered on his face.

"You want her to go through a transfusion? That will be painful, she's been through so much already."

"She is already in pain. The transfusion would only make it less painful until she learns how to control it." you nodded, unable to disagree with him.
