To say it was just a day off was an understatement. You started off your day waking up late for work, resulting in not having breakfast and starving until lunch break. After your shift ended your boss let you know that that was your last day working for them because the company went bankrupt, ending up with no job.

To make things worse your car broke down in the middle of the road and had to push it by yourself away from it. You stopped it in front of Starbucks, sweat dripping from your forehead and damping your shirt. You mentally cursed yourself and kicked the car tire out of frustration, only to end up jumping on one feet because of how bad it hurt

"Idiot!" you let out before taking out your phone, calling your sister so she could pick you up.

"I'm sorry, Y/N. I'm stuck at work. Take a taxi" she responded before you hang up

"A taxi?! How am I supposed to pay for it!" you thought, damning your boss for not paying you your two last salaries.

You checked your wallet and noticed you only had the money for a frappuccino. You locked your useless car and made your way inside Starbucks cursing at how long the queue was.

"This day couldn't get any worse" you thought and after twenty minutes it was finally your turn to make your order.

After grabbing the cup with your name on it and took a sip of your frappuccino, you felt slightly better. But that feeling was gone as soon as it came when a figure slammed against you on your way out making the frappuccino spill all over your white shirt.

"Damn it!" you exclaimed frustrated, already fed up with everything that was happening to you right now.

Tears of frustration threatened to spill but you wouldn't let them.

"Oh my God! I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention to where I was going!" the woman who slammed into you apologized

"Clearly" you scoffed before looking at her.

Your eyes widened. Out of all people you could slam into it really had to be Brie Larson?!

"Shit" you thought taking back your bitter comment

"It's ok. Don't apologize. I just had a bad day and that frappuccino was really the only good thing of the day" you sadly said before picking up your now empty cup from the floor and throwing it in the trash bin, the now coffe dump shirt disgustingly sticking to your skin.

Brie looked at you simpathetically "I'm sorry. Please let me buy you one and you can tell me all about your bad day. Talking about it might make you feel better" she offered genuinely trying to help

Your heart melted at the woman's generosity, but you couldn't really accept. Even though having a coffee with freaking Brie Larson was really tempting.

"It's not necessary, really..."

"I insist. Besides, if you don't accept, I will really feel bad about it." she teased taking your hand and taking a place in the long queue to get your drink.

You smiled at her and thanked her, but she waved it off saying it was the least she could do since she just made your day worse by spilling your coffee on you.

The moment she took both hers and yours frappuccino, you two took a seat at one of the tables and engaged in a conversation.

"I'm sorry. I didn't ask what your name was" she said, cursing herself for being so rude

You smiled at her and told her your name and she politely replied with hers

"I know who you are. It's not everyday that Brie Larson spills coffee on you and then offers to buy you another one so she doesn't feel bad about it the rest of the day" you joked making her laugh and you were sure your heart backflipped at the sound.
