Your eyes, so crystal green
Sour apple baby, but you taste so sweet
You got hips like Jagger and two left feet
And I wonder if you’d like to meet
The first time she saw you she immediately fell in love with your eyes. Those green eyes that kept throwing looks at her, telling her to go dance with you. Your body was the other thing she couldn't stop staring at. Those curves, all in the right places, your toned stomach that she could see because of you wearing a crop top. And even though you couldn't dance for the life of you, she was just mesmerized by your presence
Your voice is velvet through a telephone
You can come to mine, but both my roommates are home
Think I know a bar where they would leave us alone
And I wonder if you’d take it slow
She approached you eventually, introducing herself as Brie, but you didn't go home together that night. You gave her your number and started texting for a few days before deciding to meet up again in bar, where no one would bother you.
You were so nervous, shifting in your seat at the counter and fidgeting with the end of your shirt. She was a sight to see and you really didn't want to screw it all up.
Oh, we’re dancin’ in my living room
And up come my fists
And I say, “I’m only playing”, but
The truth is this
That I’ve never seen a mouth that I would kill to kiss
And I’m terrified, but I can’t resist
After spending a lovely evening at the bar she took you to her place. You sat on the couch, drinking a glass of wine when she suddenly stood up and played some music and started dancing along. A little smirk found its way to your mouth as you looked at her dancing with no care in the world, her moves smooth and free. She then took your hand and started dancing with you, her body against yours. You enjoyed every minute of it when a thought came to your mind
What if I'm rushing into things? What if me starting to care about her freaks her out?
As she put her arms around your neck, still dancing to the music you lied through your teeth, trying not to hurt her
"You know this means nothing, right?"
Great way to go, Y/N!
But her reaction took you by surprise. She leaned in to you ear and whispered ever so seductively "I think you're lying" before sitting back down on the couch.
Oh yes, you were definitely lying. This meant way more than nothing. As the night kept going you didn't once stop staring at her lips and realized you never wanted to kiss a girl so badly like you wanted right now. You tried to resist the temptation, but you eventually gave in, finally savoring her lips
And I say
Beautiful stranger, here you are in my arms and I know
That beautiful strangers only come along to do me wrong
And I hope, beautiful stranger, here you are in my arms
But I think it’s finally, finally, finally, finally, finally safe
For me to fall
Oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh
Even though she was just a stranger to you, the feeling of her in your arms, tasting her beautiful lips made you feel whole, complete. It was like you were meant to kiss those lips, to have her here with you. It's the first time something like this happened to you, all the girls you kissed before left you with a void to fill, disappointment in your heart. You didn't know you were looking for Brie until the day she stepped into your life. You just hoped she felt the same
I grab your hand and then we run to the car
Singing in the street and playing air guitar
Stuck between my teeth just like a candy bar
And I wonder if it goes too far to say
I’ve never recognized a purer face
You stopped me in my tracks and put me right in my place
Used to think that loving meant a painful chase
But you’re right here now and I think you’ll say
On your second date she childishly raced you to the car, laughing all the way, your heart melting at the sound. When she arrived she did a cute little victory dance with her fists raised to the air, making you so maturely stuck your tongue at her. She shook her head and laughed again before taking your hand and making you seat on the car's hood. She played some music and you two started singing along, pretending to play two invisible guitars. When you both turned to face the others, your laughters subsided as you stared at each other's eyes.
She kissed you first, her tongue asking for entrance, which you allowed before biting her bottom lip. The things this woman did to you, you couldn't describe. You felt like your heart could beat again, like life was given back to you and you could finally breathe. You thought that falling in love was a useless chase, that eventually brought you only pain, but with Brie right there with you, you totally changed your mind
Oh, we’re dancin’ in my living room
And up come my fists
And I say, “I’m only playing", but
The truth is this
That I’ve never seen a mouth that I would kill to kiss
And I’m terrified, but I can’t resist
And I said
Beautiful stranger, here you are in my arms and I know
That beautiful strangers only come along to do me wrong
And I hope, beautiful stranger, here you are in my arms
But I think it’s finally, finally, finally, finally, finally safe
For me to fall
Oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh
Yeah, I think it’s finally, finally, finally, finally, finally safe
