Thomas pulled out his timetable. He should have science with Mrs Parker now-
"Thomas? Hello?"
He looked up to Roman waving his hand in his face. "We don't have the last lesson, remember? Now come on, drama and magic await!" Thomas smiled at his overdramatic friend.
"Roman, I swear you try to be El Gato, from that Wonderland musical thing."
Roman scoffed. "That idiot? Nah, I'm far more suited for someone like Alexander Hamilton - wise, handsome, getting the guys!"
Thomas rolled his eyes, stuffing his timetable back in his bag and swinging it onto his shoulder. "Lead the way, then, Hamilton!"
.:*:.
Grinning from ear to ear, Roman swung open the door to the theatre. "So what'd did I miss?" He sang brightly. A small pause, then loud applause filled the room with Patton yelling "Hi Roman!"
"Thought you were Hamilton, not Jefferson..." Thomas muttered, nearly laughing at how Roman gasped.
"Whatever, Thomas, now c'mon I wanna introduce you to everyone!" Roman dragged him onto the stage, pointing to a kid in a bowler hat. "That's Janus, but we all call him Deceit. He's our best makeup artist! Also, if he says he did a bad job, ignore it - he loves lying."
Thomas gave quite a girly yelp when Janus turned to face them. Half of his face was covered in delicate, shining green scales, his eye puffy and red, with a yellow iris. "What-?!"
"Ah, he always practises on himself." Roman tried to calm Thomas. "And he's talking to my co-star, Remus! He's like the Robin to my Batman. He used to write scripts but his ideas were too disturbing."
Suddenly, Patton lunged from nowhere, tackling the two of them in a huge bear hug. "Hiiii!"
"Hello, adoring citizen!"
"Hi, Patton..."
"Have you seen Logan? I've been looking for him!" Patton asked.
Roman shook his head. "Nope."
Thomas blinked. "Who's Logan?"
"He's Patton's' boyfriend!~"
"No, he isn't! I just really need to know what scripts he's got so I can start preparing fabrics I gotta buy!" Patton huffed. He put his hands on his hips, a big smile on his face. "I'm the creator of the costumes."
"Oh, do you design them?"
"Oh, no!" Roman laughed at the notion. "Patton tried to design my costume last year, and it was awful!"
Patton laughed, slightly. "It was awful! Roman had to go with his usual designer!"
"Oh, who's your usual designer?" Asked Thomas. Roman rolled his eyes irritably.
"An edgy kind. Remind me to never introduce you-"
"LOGAN!" Patton practically screamed. An uptight boy jumped, adjusting his glasses and a necktie.
He looked over to Patton slightly alarmed. "Uh, salutations, Patton."
"Come over here, Lo, meet Thomas!" Patton beckoned him over grandly.
Logan walked over with impeccable posture. He stood, looking down at Thomas and offering out his hand. "Hello, I am Logan Berry. I work the researcher of the plays and proof-reader of every script."
Thomas shook it awkwardly. "Hi, I-I'm Thomas. S-Sanders. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Roman nudged him. "Don't feel too intimidated. Logan is really smart but he is just a big softie. Trust me."
"Falsehood. The only person soft here is Patton."
Patton smiled, plopping his hands on his hips. "That is probably a fact! Only Logan still has a teddy bear!"
Logan's' face went red. "Patton!" He hissed.
Thomas and Roman both burst out laughing, as Logan punched Patton's' arm in embarrassment. During their laughter, Thomas looked up to see a boy in a dark hoodie - he was vaguely familiar.
"Hey, Roman, is that the kid I ran into Friday?"
"Oh." Roman's' voice became cold. "Oh, yeah, that's him. Just ignore him-"
"No, I want to apologize! C'mon, let's go!" Thomas grabbed his wrist, dragging him in the direction of the darkly dressed man.
.:*:.
The boy went backstage, dragging his hands along the equipment. He seemed completely unaware of the four boys walking after him. He eventually sat down on the ground, rummaging through his bag. Thomas suddenly felt a little nervous, unsure whether to approach him. The boy pulled out a sketchbook and pencil, and several scripts.
"Oh, are you designing?" Roman suddenly yelped. The boy jumped and spun around.
"Princey?! What- What the hell?! Jesus, you gave me a heart attack!" The boy yelled at him.
Roman ignored him, running over. "Do you have anything yet? Just so you know, I grew an inch and a half over the summer!"
Thomas walked over, awkwardly. "Yeah, whatever. What do you want?"
"Oh well, this is Thomas. You were rude to him on Friday." Roman crossed his arms.
Swallowing slightly, Thomas put on a big smile. "So is this your usual designer?"
"He doesn't choose anyone else. Princey would die without me." The boy smirked at Roman.
Logan and Patton made themselves known when Patton cried, "Hey, Virgie!"
"Your name is... Virgie?"
"It's Virgil. Only Pops calls me Virgie."
"Yeah, everyone else just calls you an emo nightmare." Roman scoffed.
"Yeah, and everyone else gets a nice costume design because they just call me Virgil."
Virgil flipped through the pages of the sketchbook, Thomas catching glimpses of measurements, outfits and pictures. "You're a good artist..." He said, slightly amazed.
Virgil's' cheeks went pink at the compliment. "Y-Yeah, thanks, whatever... Now, Princey. I'm guessing you want rainbows all over your costume, big, neon green and hot pink bows on your trousers and a t-shirt saying, "Bite me because I am a stuck up ego trapped in an obnoxious human form'."
"Why the hell not?"
.:*:.
Well, he's finally there! I never know what to put here! Soooo, yeah bye...
