Thomas sat on Roman's' couch, trying to pay attention. About a week ago, the possible cast had been called, and he'd been at Romans' house almost every other day. Patton was looking at fabric on his phone next to him and Logan just searched through his version of the script.

Roman, Remus and Virgil were standing ahead of them, saying their lines but not moving. Roman said it was called blocking. Thomas watched the three of them deliver their lines, lounging on the couch lazily.

A knock on the door startled him and Remus grinned evilly.

Roman turned to his twin. "Who've you invited?"

"Janus! I want him to try out some makeup ideas! He's unsure whether to make the angel and devil natural or abstract." Remus jumped to his feet, wandering down the corridor to fetch his friend.

Janus waltzed in. He never seemed to walk normally, and he always had some form of flair in his step. "Hello, everyone." He said with a smirk. He sat down next to Patton, peering at the fabrics on the phone screen.

"Did you bring your kits?" Remus asked excitedly.

"Of course I did, Remus. Roman, Emo, come here!" Deceit beckoned, snatching up a large black suitcase.

Virgil glared at Janus as he knelt down next to him. "I think abstract because it will make us-"

"Shush, emo, stick to costumes and lighting and set. I do the makeup." Janus patted Virgil on the head, opening the suitcase. He pulled out a small Alice-band to hold back Virgil's' hair. He handed it to the emo and frowned. "Go wipe of that makeup, emo. I can't work on a dirty canvas."

Virgil's' glare deepened, but he snatched the Alice-band and went up the stairs to the bathroom.

Roman slipped the Alice-band around his head. "What colour palettes are you planning?"

"Gold, red and white for Gabriel; black, purple and red for Lucifer," Janus answered promptly over the sound of running water upstairs. "At least, those are the palettes Virgil is gonna try to work within his designs."

Roman made a small noise of indifferent agreement, shutting his eyes as Janus patted his face with a rosy coloured paste.

Thomas turned away, as he knew nothing about makeup and it kind of bored him. Virgil appeared at the top of the stairs, heading down sulkily.

Remus gasped loudly. "Oh my god! You have freckles?!"

"He does?" Janus looked up instantly, grinning.

"Oh, shut up." Virgil sneered, turning his head to a profile shot as he tried to look away. Despite his attempts to hide away, his cheeks were littered with freckles, spreading across his nose and gracing his forehead. "It's not I'm the only person who has freckles..."

Roman shrugged. "Yeah, but you're an emo who hides away from the world - I thought it'd be impossible for you to have sun kisses all over your face!"

"Oh, shut up, Roman!" Snapped Virgil defensively. He sat down in his previous space, shoulders hunched as he glared at everyone who caught his eye.

Patton gasped. "Freckles buddies!"

Virgil smirked before covering it quickly with his hand. Regaining his angry expression, he nodded in careful answer to Pattons' statement. "Yeah, I guess..."

"Shush, Virgil. The more you talk about freckles, the more likely I'll find a way to involve them in the makeup design." Janus threatened. Virgil clenched his jaw, pouting. "Good emo. Now, Roman, don't mind me but I'm going to cover your face in glitter now."
