"Thomas!" Cried his mother and Thomas put down his phone with an unamused face. Not more chores. He groaned inwardly but stood, walking out of his room.

"Yes?" He yelled.

"Your friends are inviting you to a sleepover! They're at the door!"

Thomas blinked in surprise, heading downstairs to see Patton.

Patton beamed up at him from his doorway. "Roman's invited everyone!"

Jumping the last few steps and grabbing his sneakers, he glanced up at Patton. "'Everyone' everyone?"

"Oh, goodness, no! Just Virgil, Janus, me, Logan, you and then Remus lives there."

"Who else is coming?" He asked. Thomas hadn't put on his sneakers, but he was ready to as Patton said told him that everyone had said yes. He nodded, feeling a grin slowly spread across his face. "Sure, let me just pack a bag quickly!" Hurrying up the stairs, Thomas gave Patton a brief wave before rushing into his room, snatching up a messenger bag. He tipped out the contents onto his already messy bedroom floor and he grabbed a random shirt and pair of jeans, shoving them in ungraciously. Finishing the hurried packing, he darted back down to Patton, forcing his sneakers on. "Let's go!" He beamed.

When Thomas and Patton arrived, they heard the tell-tale cackling of their friends indoors. Patton knocked brightly and it was opened by Logan. The two held each others' gaze briefly but Logan caved quickly, turning bright and allowing them to pass. Patton laughed lightly, kissing Logan on the cheek and Thomas hid a smirk.

Roman waved enthusiastically. "Hey, guys! You two got here just in time!" He grinned.

"Roman, I do not trust that smile, what are you planning?" Asked Thomas, a beam of his own forming instantly.

"Oh, nothing much," Janus purred. "We've just found out Virgil can hit the same notes of that woman who sings in the Phantom of the Opera. Even that really, really high E!"

Thomas jaw dropped and he looked at the emo who stared up at the ceiling with a furious blush. "Can you, Virge?"

"Nope." He hissed.

Remus nodded enthusiastically. "He can! I got a video!"

"Remus!" Yelped Virgil, jolting as though he'd been electrified.

Logan nodded formally. "Roman insisted we watched some opera and Virgil knew the lyrics, so he and Roman were singing along. I must say, for a fifteen-year-old male, that is an incredibly impressive range and you never struck me as a soprano."

"Virgie, that's so impressive!" Squealed Patton, tackling the emo in a hug. "Please can I hear?"

"Nope, no, I am not, I can not, I never could, you're all being idiots!"

Remus then held up his phone, almost shoving it in Thomas's' hands as he clicked on a certain part of the video. It was a low shot of Virgil and Roman, in what looked like a standoff, Roman finishing a lyric in a slightly higher tone than usual. The quality slightly tinny as it came from Remus's' speakers, you could see Virgil open his mouth to sing. "He's there, the Phantom of the Opera!~"

Virgil's' face went bright red and Thomas glanced up at him with a small whistle of shock, before turning back to the phone, the emo struggling out of Patton's' grasp."

"Sing!" Cried recorded Roman, and Thomas watched as the actor's' face dropped with a stunned grin as recorded Virgil breathed in quickly before belting a high, unwavering note with perfect precision. You could hear Sierra Borgess in the background, but it was obvious that Virgil was also maintaining that note.

From across the circle that seemed to have formed, Patton gasped, hugging Virgil even tighter. Ramin Karmiloo commanded, 'sing,' again, Roman missing his line in shock and recorded Virgil hopped up a note. Thomas was trying desperately not to laugh as Virgil's' voice grew slowly higher and higher until the final note. The emo breathed in as quickly as he could, clenching his eyes shut as he managed to reach the high E. Virgil wriggled out of Patton's' grasp, smacking Remus's' phone to the ground and turning it off.

There was a moment of silence and then everyone bust out laughing, Patton squealing and Virgil shyly hiding in his hands.

Thomas couldn't have asked for a better group of friends.
