Her fingers hardly grazed past the door. Wanting to knock but ready to turn away. Her stomach knitted tightly as she finally raised her hand. Knocking lightly on the door, she could hear small talk on the other side. Short crashes before the door had swung opened widely. Revealing a dark haired girl who had flickered her eyes across the girls face.

"Hello?" The girls in front of her spoke as her body had frozen. The girl had so many similar facial features to the woman she called the mother. Her throat dried up.

"Amanda?" The girl spoke softly as the girls face had furrowed.

"Yes? Who are you?" Amanda spoke.

"I'm Lu-"

"My god you look just like her." A male spoke up now from behind Amanda. Her eyes flickered up to the man as she had now seen the resemblance of the girl in her father as well.

"I'm Lucy's daughter." She spoke as the female in front of her's body had tensed up.

"You can't be, she died. Giving birth to me." Amanda's words had been harsh as the girl had flinched slightly.

"She couldn't take care of you at the time. She wasn't ready for a kid. She left, they wanted you to think that." The girl spoke as she had looked up to the girl who's eyes had held a sharp glare at her. She felt small in comparison to the look she was receiving. If looks could kill she would've melted where she stood.

"Lucy would do something like that. But to leave her daughter? The doctors -"

"Where paid off by her parents. Which is why they kept trying to take Amanda. So that my mother could have her back with out you knowing she was alive. She thought she loved you, she swore for years she'd finally admit to you she was alive. But she found drugs to be a better option to cope with her lie." The girl spoke as she had held out her hand shortly. "I'm Kennedy, her other daughter."

"Why are you here?" Amanda's words had still held venom against the girl.

"Well that's the thing, I didn't have anywhere else to go. My - or uh our mother is dead now. Since I'm nineteen I can't really go to a foster home. So I tracked down mom's old address here." Kennedy spoke as she had given a short smile.

"Come on in." Brady spoke pushing the door opened slightly more for the girl to enter. Amanda's eyes had glared as the girl had continued into the house. The door slamming behind her as Amanda had crossed her arms over her chest. Back pressed against the door.

"So you came to my father?" Amanda states, her tone filled with venom. For the girl she hardly even know, jealously seethed off the girl. For her knowing her mother, her getting to have a chance at least to meet her.

"Well my mother used to talk about him. I figured if anyone would be nice enough to let me stay somewhere for a few months to just get a job, he might." Kennedy spoke as she looked at the girl. "Do you hate me?" She hardly spoke as Amanda scoffed and shoved past her.

"Amanda." Brady states as the girl continued to walk.

"I'm going out with friends." Amanda states as she had climbed up the stairs. Brady finally turning back to the girl.

"Sorry, she's - got a temper." Brady states as the girl had given a short smile.

"It's okay, I know mom had a bad temper too." Kennedy states as Brady had looked shocked a moment.

"Lucy? I hadn't known her to have any kind of - temperamental problems." Brady spoke as Kennedy had rose a brow.

"Really? You didn't know she was on medication? For her bipolar issues? Anger issues also run across her family. Her parens where pretty good at trying to hide when they got angry." Kennedy states as Brady had let a short breath out.
