"Liam are you sure? These papers have been hidden for years. Besides most of these people where kids back when they started. Maybe we should just -"
"No I want the files, they came here. I want to know why they decided to come back. Family sakes, or whatever." Liam states as he had looked up to the blonde who pressed her lips into a fine line before she had tossed the first manila folder on top of the desk.
"First up, Carter Dean. Oldest of the group, this isn't his first rodeo with the Stones. He's pretty familiar with fathers old teaching habits. He's the top guy we have." She spoke as the boy had pulled the folder opened.
"He's engaged?" He states looking up.
"Go ahead and read that file before you assume that." She states.

He met the love of his life at fourteen, she had only been thirteen at the time. They came across each other at a meet point deep in the sunflower fields of Montana. A calm bridge that had been home to the ravenous vines and weeds. His home town was something that he had never strayed too far from. He always found his way to come back. Whether for family or for friends, and eventually for her. He would've followed her to the ends of the earth.
"So forever then." Her voice was softly her head rested on his shoulder as he had smiled slightly and nodded his head. The lily that rested in his hands was soon drifted over to her delicate fingers.
"Forever." He muttered as he had shut his eyes.
The bridge they had sat one became a common meeting place. They had cleaned it up, spending several years making it look nice for themselves. A lace they could both enjoy to look at the river. The first time they had an argument was when he had been sixteen she had just hardly hit fifteen when she had shoved him off the bridge. It was a short fall but scared the both of them.
"Oh my god I'm so sorry." She had splashed into the river bank while he had sat up. He rubbed his head the fall wasn't all too bad however he would admit he himself thought he was going to be dead.
"No it's fine. Besides I shouldn't have stuck so close to the bridge." He muttered as he had stood up. The girl had clung to him like she was about to lose everything she had ever dreamed of.
"I'm so sorry." Her words escaped her as he had wrapped his arms around her.
"Don't be." He muttered.
It was at eighteen that he had found she was pregnant, she was hardly seventeen when she had told him. The news broke more then just him. He'd be a young father and she'd be a young mother. He was scared he would've fucked up, the whole world was still so new to him.
"My parents are going to kill me! I can't be pregnant." Her voice held worry as she had gripped onto his shirt. Her eyes brimmed with tears ready to spill out as he had held her face in his hands.
"Let's go away together then." He muttered softly to her as the woman had looked to him. Worried that this was a joke, that he was going to walk away from her.
"When do we leave?" She muttered as he had thought for a moment before he smiled.
"Tonight, we head to California. We make a new life for ourselves. I can follow my dreams, maybe join a band. Be a guitarist." He states as the girl had nodded her head. Her fingers pressed lightly to his face.
"I'll meet you by the bridge tonight." She muttered as he had held onto her hand before she turned away.
"Tonight then." He states.
