Kiara had creepied slowly around the door to her room. It had sat opened, she had never left it opened when she had gone out for the day. She had never actually left it opened even when she was in her room. Her hands had moved the door opened wider as she stepped into her room. She assessed the room, to figure out what might have gone missing. Her bag had sat out in the hallway as she had shook her head. It looked like nothing had been missing, her eyes flickered over to her desk as her heart lurched in her chest. Her journal was missing, she had flipped around. She had never ran in the house mostly because she never needed to. Instead she had skidded into the kitchen. The air had felt tense as she had stopped. Her eyes had widened at the journal laying in her uncles hands.

His face had told her everything she had needed to know. He had gotten far enough into the book to know exactly who she had been talking to. Her heart was racing quickly as she could hear every beat in her ears. His eyes had moved up from the book. The horror had ultimately settled in her chest, she left her journal on the counter this morning. She didn't think anyone would pick it up. Just push it aside like another notebook from  school.

"I can explain." The words fumbled off Kiara's lips as Skylar had slammed the book shut. There was very few things in the Lockhart household that she has learn to basically live by. Avoiding the Loves had been one of the biggest things she learned. Now she stood here, her uncle already deep enough into her book to know she was practically in love with the son to the man he had hated more then anyone else on the planet.

"Explain? There is no explanation for this." Skylar's words and terrified the girl, she knew he wouldn't hurt her. Well she had hoped, instead he had stormed past her. She could feel the rage practically seeping off of his body. She had followed en-suite. Up the stairs towards her father and mother's room. She wanted to stop him, to not go in. But she had no control when he had ripped the door opened. Instead the book was sent flying to the bed.

"Your daughter is fucking Cameron Loves boy. Of all the people in this whole town - better yet the whole fucking world she chose him." Skylar's words dropped with venom on the name that he hated. Kiara stood in the doorway. She felt light headed. Her body tensed up as her eyes locked to her mothers. A silent plea to understand that these next moments would most definitely get ugly.

"You read my journal!" Kiara's words now snapped, her eyes ripped away from her mother. Of all the people in the whole house Kiara would've never outspoke against her uncle or her father. Her uncle was practically what her nightmares had been made of. "You didn't have to, have you ever heard of privacy? Or is that something you can't get through that thick skull of yours? Why not read all the other ones." Kiara's words had snapped out. It was a rare thing for her to ever get pissed, she was great about holding her tongue. Except this time she had moved herself, ripping her journal off the bed as she had stomped out of the room.

The moments had moved quickly. She stood in her room as she ripped the box out of the closet. Her hands picking up a journal as she had sent it flying towards the man that stood in her doorway. The anger seeped out of every pore in her body as she continued to rip them out of her box.

"Read them all! Go ahead, because you clearly don't understand that they are mine!" Her words dripped with venom as she watched her uncles form only get angrier from the doorway as she watched her father and mother's presence come into view. Her breaths had come out harshly as she had held onto the next book. Her eyes narrowed into her uncles. Under normal circumstances she would've looked away. Except this time her green eyes had stayed locked to his, the dark almost golden eyes hadn't scared her this time.

"You are with an enemy." Skylar's words hissed out as the anger only grew bigger inside the girls chest as she had flung the next book. Watching it hit his chest as he hit the floor.

"No. You are just too fucking stuck in your head to realize he is not his father, and he is not my enemy." Kiara spoke as she had let out a deep huff of air as the tension in the air had broke. Jessica's hand yanking the man back as Kiara had let the other book slowly fall from her hand.

"I think that Skylar needs to take a step back. Let's not forget you read her journal." Jessica spoke as the tension in the air dramatically had started to drop as Kiara had let her legs slowly collapse under her. The only thing she could never do in this whole house was stand up to anyone older then her. Now she sat here realizing she not only went against someone older then her but she went against the only person in the house that scared her more then anyone else. He was made of things that came out of her nightmares.

"I think it's best we leave her alone for now." Kristi spoke as she had turned her attention back to Jessica. She had been dragging the angry man off. Her words had been quiet as she had grumbled under her breath about the 'disturbed' peace of the house.

"I think I'll go have a talk with Skylar." Chance spoke as Kiara had kept her eyes on her hand. The shaking had slowly started as she listened to her door softly shut behind her. She had swallowed her breath as she had slowly pulled her knees up to her chest. She didn't like being angry, she didn't like the person she became. The thoughts she had and now she had to calm down. Her hands reached for her phone as she had dialed up the number.

"Kiara, you don't usually call this early in the day?" His voice had soothed the tremors that had gone through her body as she had tried to find it in herself to talk with out sounding utterly defeated.

"They know." Her words had been small whisper, to keep from sounding like she was crying. She could feel the tears slowly start to prick into her eyes.

"What? Wait they? You mean your family." She nodded her head like he could see her. She had dryly opened her mouth as she gave a short laugh.

"I guess it would've helped if I had just hid my journal." She states as she had let her muscles slowly untense the worse was now over. She didn't have to convince herself to find a way to tell people now. Not when they practically knew now.
