"I have fallen in love once before." She spoke in a hushed tone, her words falling off her lips in a small quiver. She was forcing herself to remember something that had been locked away in her mind. A memory she had once forgotten a face she had once left to die in her world.

"He was angry." She spoke again in the quiet room, her eyes had fallen to her hands as she desperately tried to piece together the puzzle that was laid out in her memories. She clung to these pieces of her past that she couldn't recall. Something that was missing that was lost.

"He always protected me even in his world. He really tried." She whispered as she pressed her fingers to her head. A headache killing her head as she tried to fight back whatever invisible force this was. Something she didn't want to forget. She stood up in a haste as her arms had flung everything off the table. Sending it crashing into the floor as she had looked to the table. The small water droplet now had splashed against the surface.

"He loved me." Her words seemed more like a plead with herself to remember. She had let the tears continue to run down her face as she had watched them splash across the table. For all she knows the memory she's trying so hard to remember was a person who had died.

"He changed my life, and I don't even know who he is." Octavia spoke to herself in the stilled air of the room. She had held her hands on the table as they curled around themselves.

"Octavia." Indra's words had dragged the girl back to her reality. She had looked up to the woman who stood in the doorway. A serious tone had fell over her features.

"He might be dead for all I know." Octavia whispered as Indra had taken in a deep breath. The air around them had grown still, silence fell into the room.

"We don't mourn the dead until the war is over. Azegeda will surely attack at any point we need to move." Indra spoke as Octavia had straightened herself up. She had let out a short breath as she had nodded her head. Wiping the tears away as she had set out to leave the room following Indra.

"Until this war is over I'll keep my head on my shoulders." Octavia states. To keep herself stable was a struggle in itself but now she was going to prove to Indra she could do it.

"You'll one day be my legacy, I expect you to have your head on your shoulders. But I know that you are just like everyone else. Running off your emotions and not your strategy." Indra spoke as she looked to the girl. The one she had entrusted to be her legacy. The one to step up in place of her, if she could prove she deserved it.

"We don't need to worry about one day yet. You're still here and this war is still at our front door." Octavia spoke as she had stepped past Indra towards the main room. She left Indra behind a moment. The woman taking in her apprentice as she had smiled just the slightest.

"Yes I'm still here." Indra spoke softly.
