My eyes fluttered open slowly. Where am I? I sat against a wall in a large room. Tall windows made up the wall on my left; on my right, it looked like some kind of abandoned office building. Small cubicle stood in the center; maybe twenty in all. There were five cubicles on either wall, and ten bunched up into a neat square in the center. I tried to move but my strength had been completely depleted. My entire body was numb and unable to move. I continued to search the room with my eyes, but from my position on the floor, there wasn't much too see.

I tried to look out the window, but all I could see was the top of a few buildings. Other than that, the sky being cloudless, left the rest of the window shrouded in a deep blue. At least I could tell where I might be. I saw what looked like the tip of the L.I.D tower, and there wasn't many towers taller that it. There were a few, so knowing the exact one was a toss up, but a fall from one of these towers, and it'd be curtains.

I hear something in the cubicle fall. Maybe a trashcan was knocked over. But, what would knock over a trash can? If it were a Person they would probably have cursed.

A low growl came from that direction. I tried to see, but my body still wouldn't move. I saw something shift and my eyes jump back to the window and lock with a pitch black wolf, dog, thing's emerald eyes that seemed to almost give off light. I look back to the cubicle for a second and see a wolf, I think 'wolf' does accurately describe them, a silver furred wolf with golden eyes that possessed the same almost light creating effect.

'Wait... isn't that-!'

My thoughts were interrupted by the shrill cry of the black furred animal. In response, the silver one cried out too, almost like they were yelling at each other. After the cries ceased, the room went still. Only the sound of the dark furred animal's growl could be heard. Then, like a gun for a race, something clicked, and the beasts lunged at each other with all their strength.

The black wolf gained control quickly; he pinned the grey wolf down to the floor, biting his soft looking silver paws. But, the silver wolf had had enough. He bit back. He chomped down onto the the black one's paw and turned himself over. Now it was the silver wolf who had control. He loomed over the black one and the feeling of murderous intent seeped from every corner of the silver's body. Though not physically see-able, anyone with any kind of sense, could feel how powerful it was.

Fear flashed in the darker one's eyes. He squirmed until he was free. And so to no surprise, he ran off, leaving me with the silver one.

Wait , I need to get away, and quickly! I wish my body would move!

The wolf limped towards me, it seemed injured. A feeling of slight guilt washed over me. Even though they were probably fighting over who gets to eat me, I couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for the creature. I hate seeing animals get hurt... The wolf was no exception...The wolf was now face to face with me, only leaving a few inches from contact.

'Please don't eat me! Please don't eat me! Please don't eat me! Please don't eat me!!'

The wolf parted it's lips and I feared the worst. Closing my eyes with what little strength I could muster, I waited for the strong, bloody white, razor sharp,-tongue?

I felt the wolf's slimy tongue touch my nose, as it did, the feeling in my body returned, and my strength along with it. I opened my eyes. The wolf stepped back and watched me. I moved my fingers, then my wrists. After I made sure everything was in order, I looked back to the wolf who sat in front of me, panting with what looked like a smile.

"You're different from the others, aren't you?" I asked, knowing the creature would just continue to sit there and stare at me.

"Do you know what happened?" I asked aloud; not really to the animal, but more to myself in hopes that it might jog some of my memories.

Annoyed at myself for not being able to think of anything , I spoke aloud, to continue my thoughts.

"Of course you don't, you're-" I stopped and realized that there was something I was forgetting, something I was missing.

Oh, That's right! Sora and Reiji and... and I was in a helicopter. But...Yuto, what do you think"

Silence.

'Yuto?'

"Yuto, this isn't the time to be playing games!" I yelled aloud, causing the wolf to jump back, startled.

"Yuya!" I heard a familiar voice yell. "Don't move!"

I look in the direction of the voice and see Sora. In his hands, he held a semi-automatic sub-machine-gun that looked oddly placed in his hands. He pointed it at the now defensively positioned, silver wolf.

I acted on impulse, nothing else, but at the same time, it felt right. I lunged in front of the wolf as sora fired. He was quick, but not quicker than a bullet. One bullet pierced my chest, while another, through the stomach.

"Yuya!" Sora yelled as I fell forward. Sora charged at me, in hopes to prevent me from falling onto the cold ground. The wolf, however, took his place.

I let my body hang over him. Sora knelt down to look at my wounds, only to be greeted by a growl. Sora seemed to get that the wolf wasn't trying to hurt me.

"It's okay. I just want to help him." the wolf seemed to understand that sora was being honest.

The animal looked away as Sora moved me onto my side. It felt like, well... like getting shot. The impact of my body onto the ground sent shivers through my whole being.

"Man, that doesn't tickle...." I said with a small laugh as Sora used his cell phone to call someone.

"Reiji's on his way; you should rest while we wait. The more you move, the more blood you'll lose... but it looks like the bullets passed through, so you don't have to worry about the pain of pulling them out." Sora said, acting as though he didn't care.

"Thanks for the update."

"Oh go to sleep...!"
