I'm thinking of putting pictures in for some of these scenes (My art sucks, but I want to try.) so be sure to keep an eye out for them!

'So you are one of those cards!'
A pleased hum followed.
'So... you know what happened to the other phantoms? Please tell me.'
Back in that time, the process of turning people into cards was as refined as it is now. In all honesty, it disgusts me that this would still be going on after so many years... I'll assume you know they were defeated by a group of malicious players and turned into cards."
'I do. I also know they only lost because their opponents cheated. I do have a question though, how do you know so much? I thought you could only be with us on the field, but if they lost, the action field would have turned off and you'd have been sent back.'
"No, we are always with our masters, though we cannot see in the same way you can. We use our master's memories to assess how they're doing, or if they need help."
'So your memories were connected to the phantom that owned you?'
"Yes."
'I interrupted, I'm sorry...'
"There's no need for apologies, you've always been such a curious child."
'So... what happened to them? You said they were carded, right?'
"Yes, but like I said, the technology wasn't nearly as refined as it is now. When their souls were trapped in the cards, we couldn't free them. Try as we did, the cards were sealed tight. But, even though we couldn't free them, we were able to manage to send them elsewhere. Though the cost was great. Enraged at the thought of never seeing them again, my brothers and sister decided to reap revenge on those who dared to separate us. I, on the other hand, was nore saddened than angry. Nonetheless, since we've always been inseparable since our arrival in Zarc's world, when they decided that he could help get their 'vengeance', I had been pulled along...
We took control of Zarc and defeated our opponents so we could carry out our final deed to our masters. By sealing the other duelist into cards and ripping them apart, we were able to create an escape for them!"
'Y-you ripped their soul cards!?'
"Before you become upset, hear me out!" Odd-eyes cried.
'Why should I? You killed them!'
"Because your friend was not given the nickname 'Phantom' for no reason."

ActionPhantom's POV: I stood up and walked over to her, lowering my hood back down to my shoulders. She stiffened completely as she realized who I was. Is she afraid? Maybe. I did pick her up and jump out a damn window without waring her... A few seconds...
