I think this is one of my favorite changes to the story from when I typed it up from my notebook 😆

Okay, one more time with the basics. I'm from another place and was brought here by a wormhole. There is a look-a-like of me, you, Yuzu, Shingo, Shay, and Reiji. You and I need to leave and find your other piece, who is from the same place as me, got it?" Sora questioned.

I stared owl-eyed at him.

"I think so?" I answered, well...more like questioned, dragging out the 'o' in 'so.

"As long as 'got it' means to listen, believe, and ask no questions because your more than likely aren't going to ignore them anyway." I added.

Sora smacked his palm to his forehead.

"You know what, okay, fine, sure, just- we need to find, my Yuya, 'ya still with me?" Sora asked.

"I don't think I was with you in the first place, but sure, let's go with that..." I responded, earning a groan from Sora from behind his hand as it slid down to cover his mouth and chin.

"Oh, and- um.... How do we get out of here?"

Sora slid his hand onto his knee and directed his gaze to a camera perched in the far corner of the room, nestled in the intersection of the two walls and ceiling.

"Which most likely means that whatever happened had nothing to do with this Yuya." he said casually to the camera.

A moment of silence fell over us, leaving a slight ringing in my ear. A loud click was heard at the door causing me to jump slightly.

"Pleasure doing business with ya'!" Sora sang, grabbing my arm and pulling me out the door.

"Much appreciated!" He sang again, stepping onto a narrow platform.

Below, were people! How did we not hear them before? Tons of workers were bustling around the level below, going in different directions and chatting amongst co-workers. There's like a hundred people down there! We ran across the platform to a door on the other side, the door casually sliding open for us. I wonder why there's so many people here. What are they working on? Does it have to do with the different dimensions; or is it something to do with the situation between me and Reiji?

As we went out, a corridor slithered into view. Sora seemed to know his way around as he pulled me without a second thought as to where he was going. We eventually came to another door at the end of the long hallway reading, 'stairs'. Oh great, more running... and this time it'll be on stairs...

Once again, without hesitation, Sora pushed open the door and practical dragged me down several flights of stairs. Finally, we managed to reach the ground level and both gave a sigh of relief from the sight of the lobby. Both for different reasons of course....

Now that I'd finally gotten a chance to be on my own feet for a moment, I used my depleting strength to run towards the door, not wanting Sora to drag me around like a rag-doll again...

"Where are we looking first?" I asked Sora as we exited L.I.D, breathing heavily from all the stupid running...

I'm not gonna say I hate running, I don't overly mind it, but Sora is like a machine when it comes to it! I can't keep up with him...! He makes me feel so out of shape...

"To the school! Reiji was asking questions about it! Let's head there first! He won't be there, but at least we might find some clues!" he answered, passing by me with a skip in his step.

"I feel like you're mocking me..." I say defeated.

"What was that?" Sora called from ahead.

"Nothing, nothing!"

This 'other me' sounds kinda cool! Like he's from one of those mystery shows on TV! But to be honest... if he's like that, then what on earth did he get in trouble for? I guess we'll have to wait and see...

"Come on, Yuya! We ain't got all night!"

"I'm coming! Stop being so fast!" I yell annoyedly to him as he returns, running backwards and sticks his tongue out at me.

"That's it!" I say, sprinting in his direction causing him to turn and run off into the distance, me following close behind.
