The Reality of Reality

The unspoken words become reflected on one’s face in the mirror,

Alternate realities,

Different scenarios,

Loved one’s that never were,

What one would have expressed merely a minute ago has lost the opportunity to be,

To exist,

To be remembered by another,

What is it to be human but to analyze what you feel and express it in a language that not all could understand?

What is it to exist in a world where every word,

Every experience,

Every being,

Is supposedly remembered by another’s subconscious mind?

Why reflect on what could’ve embedded in the scrolls of time that is now lost because one’s subconscious refused to let it be?

Why not live in the present?

Because to be human is to be constantly bombarded by one’s past because the past becomes of the person of the present,

The reflection of one’s eyes staring back into their own is enough for one to realise what could’ve been,

What is,

What was,

And what if,

Only if the words weren’t unspoken.
