How long had I been standing there? I don't really remember. Just a tap and I was like, "Oh...uhmm, well I..."
Damn it! Can't I even speak properly?
"Don't tell me you just talked to that creep? " That was the ever talkative May asking.
"Well, he just ran into me and was for the formalities only. Doesn't make him a creep, does it? "
Creeps don't get to be that sweet anyway.

I didn't say sweet again, did I? No, I did! What's up with me for heaven's sake?
"You barely know him Linn, so just stay away from him. A free advice from a caring friend. "
"OK fine, I will. Let's get going anyway."
I stated as I started walking away;wondering why May thought of him to be that. Didn't ask her why though, I cared less maybe.

May and I have been friends ever since we were in primary school. We know a lot about each other: family, favorites, dislikes, likes and whatever. We've had the best of fights including when I added salt into her tea and she almost tore off my chin. That was gross I know. But that was just us having the normal squabbling friends do have, right?
Looking at it though, May and I were two different people almost in terms of everything: she was this social person and I was the exact opposite. I wondered how we even got to be this close, and even now, best of friends.

Didn't mean we had no other friends, definitely not.
"Oh! Haven't seen Miranda, Daisy or even Frances, any idea where they are? "
"You know we just got to school and you're here asking me about them when am just with you,Linn!
And speaking of them, you know today is Miranda's birthday, don't you? "
Oh no! A birthday meant another party and I seriously hated parties!
How did Miranda end up to be one of my friends anyway? I know, because of May. Jeez! I hate you Miranda for being born today... Sorry, I didn't mean that. I just meant...
Just shut up Linn!
"A party tonight? " I asked as innocently as I could.
"Definitely, so you must just look good tonight, " May replied happily.
A party girl she is, am not.

Time for classes.
