"Is that the key?" Sylvia asks hopeful.

"No way, why would a powerful witch lock the doors with an actual key," Ana replies.

"Well let's try it," I say making my way to the door. I didn't believe it would work either, after all Peter betrayed me once, and can easily do it again.

I search the door and find a small lock; perfect size for the key. Holding my breath I slide the metal object in. I twist it with ease, and the door swings open.

"It has to be a trick," I say without hesitation. "It isn't this easy, Regina will pop out any second. We-"

"There's no other way," Sam interjects, "whatever happens we can fight it. We're prepared now. All of our powers together can take on some witch." Sam strides out the door. The rest of us take in a sharp breath, only to realize she was safe. Nothing had happened.

"So are we going then?" She says with a sly smirk

"I don't know..." Ana says, cautiously eyeing the now open doorway.

"What's the worst that could happen?" Sylvia says.

"Hmmm I don't know maybe some form of dark magic. Not like we're in a witch's castle or anything," Ana replies.

That's when I see her, or at least what I think to be a her. My eyes lay upon a clocked figure hidden behind a rock in the dungeon hallway. She was watching us, yet my sisters had become so engulfed in their fighting only I seem to notice.

"Hey!" I shout at the shadow. I expected her to run, but instead she comes out behind the rock, and takes the hood off her head.

What is revealed is a woman with long dark hair, pale skin, and light eyes. My sisters and I stare at her. It's easy to tell they all have the same feeling of recognition as I do.

The woman smiles.

"Hello my beautiful girls."

Her voice. It couldn't be.

"Who are you?" Ana asks.

"My name is Snow White, and I'm your mother."
