My feet move the fastest they have in my entire life. I race to keep up with Graham and Peter.

I don't dare turn around, but I know what trails behind us. The curse has reached it's time, I just hope it doesn't mean the end of ours.

We turn the corner and the portal is in sight. Everyone is gone except for two people. Sylvia and Hook linger, watching us instead of watching the portal.

"Jump!!" Graham screams.

They quickly grab hands and leap into the hole of light.

We are now only ten feet from the portal and fast approaching.

I watch Graham take tighter hold of Ana and prepare to jump. He carefully leaps and I prepare to jump. I try to grab Peter's hand but we are approaching the portal too quickly.

I bend my knees and feel the ground vanish from below me. I mentally prepare myself for the falling sensation about to occur. But it never does.

I look up to see Peter and I are both frozen above the portal. My eyes scan the room around us, the darkness of the curse is farther away than I expected. Which means we have a couple extra seconds to figure it out.

"What's happening?" I scream.

His eyes hold a panicked expression. Maybe we won't be able to figure this out.

"Did you think I'd let you two go?" Regina growls, suddenly appearing before us.

I look down to see the portal is closing. Peter must have it set to close when the curse hits.

"My dear Peter you understand how this freeze spell works," An evil smile appears on her lips. "Especially when someone as powerful as you is affected."

He remains silent.

"Please I left your heads and necks untouched for a reason. Speak to me imbeci-"

"I only have enough power to heal one soul affected," he answers, sadness clouding his eyes. If my body wasn't frozen it probably would be.

Regina laughs, "Yes yes. You see I learned that recently from a book I found. A book written by your wonderful father."

His eyes shift from sadness to fury.

The witch continues, "I guess you have to pick my dear Pan. Save yourself or the girl you supposedly love. Don't worry you can be selfish, no one will be alive to tell," she cackles.

Tears well up in my my eyes. This couldn't be happening. Our happy ending was right below us. Everything was supposed to be okay. We were supposed to go to Floristian and make a future. Maybe get married and settle down. Live like the end of those romance movies. But no. The scene I'm in has the plot of a movie, but the ending of real life.

I lock my eyes with Peter. He was crying too. He knew. Of course he knew.

"I love you," He says.

Then I'm falling.

"No!!!" I scream.

But I keep falling.
And falling.
And falling.
