Note: Originally written on Inkvite by 'DemonRose' & 'undormant'. This was a fun experiment to write just one short line each and see what happened. It's a very short story as a result!
"I can't believe this is what it's come to..."
"What do you mean?!"
"There's only us left...theres not much else to do."
"What about Jack? He made it... right?"
"Can't say, my friend. Wish I could. Hes among the unreturned."
"The escape pod... I was sure I saw him get on it. You're telling me he didn't make it to Ganymede?"
"Hes not on the roster, no."
"Then, either I'm going mad... or 'someone' or 'something' intercepted it."
