Chapter 33 Missing

Yellow Diamond's Pov
I had just arrived back to my chambers after a long day, I had a very busy meeting with Blue and White earlier.

We had been discussing about the situation with these strange gems who just appeared and started another rebellion.

We had no idea on who where the cuase of all this destruction, the one to lead all this chaos. It were at least 3-4 attacks every week. All this have been causing stress among us and Homeworld gems, making us unable to focus properly on our work.

Not only that, I were always worried sick for Opal. I had been noticing something strange going on with her every time I called her, but when I ask about it she won't tell me. She has always said she were okey and then just changed the subject. But I knew her to well to know that there were something going on.

Maybe I should ask her again, it wouldn't hurt to ask, would it? What if she thinks I am to annoying and to pushy, what if she left me cause of my actions. She wouldn't,would she? No she wouldn't, it's just because I am worried over her. She must have noticed that.... I think....

I had to call her eventually, I were just so worried about my lover. She is the light to my darkness. Without her I wouldn't be as happy as I were now.

I know that I would eventually end up training her how to fight and protect herse someday, cause I know I can't stand by her side every time.

I opened up my yellow hologram screen ready to call Opal. I did this every once in a while to ensure about her safety, it would crush me if she were hurt.

I started the call and awaited Opal to answer, hearing a beaping sound echo in my chambers from the hologram screen. This took way longer then she usually took, maybe she were busy I asked myself still waiting for Opal to answer the call.

The call ended making me a little nervous about her, maybe I were just going a little overboard. Yeah,i was imagining things. You have to relax Yellow she is fine, I am sure of it I told myself still feeling a pang of worry in my chest.

I waited a moment before calling once again, but nothing. She didn't pick up this time either. I called once again but still nothing. This made me worry more then before. She did never miss calls from me before. Maybe I should visit her, I knew I couldn't be to protective about her.
It was just for her safety after all and I wouldn't risk it.

I stood up from my yellow crystal throne and headed out of my chambers while yellow pearl were walking beside me. I could hear my heels echo thru the hallways as I were walking in a fast pace. Many gems passed us but I simply ignored them and walked passed them without a single glare or glance at them. But yellow pearl held her guard up glaring at the gems, not letting her eyes leave the gems until they were out of sight. I couldn't blame her, there were those rebels that could attach us any moment after all.

But I weren't afraid of there actions. I knew they weren't stupid to attack a diamond on broad day light with multiple soldier gems around to shatter the rebels at a single second. The jasper and every soldier gem around this area were very high ranked for their strength so just thinking to attack them were a suicide mission.

My mind were interupted when I saw those familiar light blue doors which lead to my lovers chambers. I had told her to stay there no matter what, so she must be there. If not, there were something wrong.

I stopped walking when I were a couple of meters away from Opal's chambers. I breathe in a deep breath of air before knocking on the doors.
-Opal, it's me Yellow.

I said still awaiting an answer, but nothing came out. Not even a single noise at all. The only thing that were heard were mine and yellow pearl's breathing. It were to quiet...
