Chapter 48 Back Together

Opal's Pov
There it was, that lovely shade of yellow on her doors. That exact same door which led to Yellow's chambers.

I looked behind me where Steven, Amethyst and Pearl was. I glanced towards the big yellow doors.

I where stuck if I wanted them to follow me inside or if I would go in there myself all alone.

I let my mind gather itself and
I had finally decided, I wanted to go inside alone. I hope they don't take the news badly.
-Steven, Amethyst, Pearl, can you stay here while I go inside.

I said towards the gems with a low voice as I didn't want to sound to demanding.
-I don't mind! It's your lover after all!

Steven said with a huge smile, Me and Steven then looked at Pearl and Amethyst for their amswers.
-What? Don't look at me, I don't have anything against it.

Amethyst said as she sounded slightly offended the way we looked at her, but we only let it go with a couple of laughters.
-I don't mind either, I only wish for your happiness. So do whatever you pleases my Opal.

Pearl said truthfully with a genuine smile on her face as she looked at me.

Awwww, pearl is go kind! I am so happy to have her as a friend I thought as I softly hugged her.

She hugged me back and then I went towards the other and did the same.
I then took a step back towards the big yellow doors which led to Yellow's chambers. Where Yellow had locked herself in.

I then took a deep breath as I looked at those big yellow doors. Trying to calm my happiness and nervousness.
Yet I was also scared that she would hate me after I had left without telling her about my situation.

I pushed those thoughts away as I felt myself get more nervous then before.  I took soft breaths and let light surround my body and I shape shifted myself to my diamond hight, as it would probably be easier to talk with Yellow like this.

I put my hand on the doors and slowly pushed them opened. I carefully walked inside the chamber and closed the doors behind me.
As I where inside her chambers I let my gaze wander around the room

I stopped looking around when my eyes saw its destination, there she was.

Yellow where sitting on the ground,
sobbing and sniffling. This reminded me of when I first met Yellow.
She where inside a room, sitting on the floor, crying. Exactly like she did right now.

It made my heart break, seeing her like this. I tried getting her attention as I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out.
Not even a single word.

I softly took a deep breath in and out, knowing I had to do something.
I walked closer towards my yellow lover.

My steps made Yellow alarmed and she looked behind herself still having tears dripping down her cheeks. She looked to the direction where I were standing.

As her gaze went to me, her eyes widened and she quickly stood up from the ground and ran towards me, embracing me in a warm tight hug.

I where suprised by what just happened, but quickly adjusted towards my lovers embrace.
I happily returned the hug as my arms found their way arround her torso.

The room where silent but you could hear Yellow's sniffles and happy sobs echo in the empty room. I felt my eyes glossen from sorrow and happiness but I held them in so I could comfort her.I softly petted her back in circles as an attempt to sooth her cries.

She softly let the hug go and looked at my face and her tears had stopped.
As I could feel her gaze at me I could feel sadness linger itself up in my body as my vision began to blur with tears that where threatening to fall from my glossy eyes.
