Chapter 47 Pearl

Opal's Pov
Steven shouted in joy, knowing that Amethyst would follow with us to Homeworld.

It wouldn't be that bad to have her with us, right? Stop being so negative Opal, the more the merrier. Isn't that what you said I argued with myself.

I pushed those thoughts away and looked towards Amethyst and Steven.
Steven where jumping in joy and Amethyst where inhaling the last of her food.

I faintly smiled towards them and stood up from the couch, thinking this wouldn't be that bad after all.
-Opal, Steven and Amethyst, you should probably leave now before it gets to late.

Garnet said as she walked towards us as she pushed he sunglasses back up on her nose.
-Yeah come on Opy and Steven!
We don't have all day!

Amethyst said as she also stood up as she inhaled the last of the food, including the plate. As she just swallowed all of it.
I just don't get it where it all goes, or why she can just swallow,or more like inhale everything like that.

I just pushed those thoughts away and all the other unimportant things away, since we had much more important thinks to think about.
-Yeah, you guys are right, let's go.

I agreed to Garnet and Amethyst and the half gem/human boy. He stopped jumping and running around and ran towards us as he had his hands on his cheeks. Muching them up a bit.
-Yeah!

He said happily as the boy took my hand in his and lead me towards the warp pad as Amethyst walked behind us.

For some reason the boy likes to drag me around I thought as I questioned his actions.

Well I'm not judging I thought as I looked down at the boy, as he still held my hand in his.

When we all were on the warp pad, we waved a bye towards the other gems and they smiled and waved back as white light surrounded us.

Only seconds after, we had arrived to the desert where Steven had placed his pink legged ship on.

Steven walked towards it and placed his hand on top of it. It started moving slightly and a opening opened.
-Are you guys coming?

Steven said as he waved his hand towards us, signaling us to go inside the pink ship while me and Amethyst still stood still on the warp pad.
I looked at Amethyst and she had a grin on her face and began running towards the ship.

I chuckled and began running towards her and the ship. We walked up towards the opening and walked into a huge pink room. Where the roof where at least a couple of meters high up.

Not soon later Steven walked inside the ship. And when he where inside, the door/opening closed.

Steven quickly scurried over towards a pink pad and stepped on it.
When he did, some sort of pink light surrounded his lower area.

He looked behind him, looking at us with a big smile.
-Are you guys ready?

He said excitedly.As he wondered if we where both mentally and physically prepared to fly to Homeworld.
-I was born ready!

Amethyst said with confidence as she had a huge grin on her face. I smiled warmly towards them and nodded.
Showing that I where also ready.

Steven then gave us a toothy smile and looked in front of himself and began moving his legs and the ship began moving exactly the same as his legs. He began making the ship walk backwards and finally ran forwad, took speed and jumped. Causing the ship shoot up in the sky.

The start of the ride where a little bumpy making me lose balance a little so I just grabbed ahold of the wall as I held my balance.

Not long after, the ship finally flied thru Earth's atmosphere barriers and the ship stopped shaking. I sighed happily when I knew it where done.
