Chapter 46 Yellow Flower

Opal's Pov
Not long after when I had reformed we have been taking it easy. Since I got my powers back I was very rusty with them, so I had to train or mostly get used to them again.

Only a few days later I finally got the hang off shape shifting so I could turn to human and diamond hight whenever I wanted.

Today Peridot and Lapis was in the barn, watching camping hearts.But for me,I just didn't really feel like it.

I felt like I would take a break from all the thinking and take a lovely little walk outside.

I was wandering outside for a couple of hours until I found a field filled with different colored flowers.
-Pretty....

I said breathlessly as I was amazed, I had never seen flowers this many before. I walked closer, walking inside the field of flowers.

I then felt a wave of happiness wash over me as I ran the fastest I could fealing the wind hit my face and the flowers brush my legs. For some reason I felt more alive then ever before.

That's when a specific yellow flower was caught by my eyes. I stopped running in the field and I walked slowly towards it and lowered myself as I sat down closely in front of the flower.

I carefully took my finger and brushed the fragile flowers petal as the flower moved with the wind, doing some sort of a dance.

The beautiful flower reminded me of Yellow. Just as pretty. Just as flawless.
I watched the flower sway back and forth with the wind as my hair flowed in an exact flow as the flower.

My mind was swarming with happy, wonderful memories of me and Yellow as I stared down at the yellow flower.

That peace was soon over when something or someone touched my shoulder making me flinch.

I quickly stood up backing away from whoever it is as I looked behind me, to the person that touched me.
-Sorry Opal,Didn't mean to scare you.

Steven said with an apologetic voice as he gave me a nervous smile.
I felt myself relax, noticing it was only Steven.
-No need to apologize, I should have been more aware of my surroundings.

I explained to Steven with a soft smile. Steven then chuckled and looked towards the yellow flower I had been staring at.
-Why where you staring at that flower?

The boy asked as he hunched down to get a further inspection on the flower.
I walked towards the flower and Steven and sat beside him.I stared at the flower with a sad smile.
-The flower reminded me of Yellow...

I said truthfully as I still stared at the pretty yellow flower.Steven then looked towards me with a sad face.
-Do you miss her?

Steven asked to me as he stared into my eyes. I sighed, knowing that the boy where right. I missed her so much it was breaking me. Even though it wasn't visible on the outside my expression said it all.
-Yes, dearly...

I said towards the half human/gem. Steven then went quiet until he then looked at me with a huge smile on his lips and stars in his eyes, he probably thought of an idea I thought as I watched the boy gleam.
-How about we go to Homeworld and meet her! We could always take my pink ship!

Steven said with a positiv voice as he smiled at me.I looked at him with wide eyes as I stared at the boy, I then felt a genuine smile appear on my lips. I felt so happy.
-I would love to.

I said to Steven and I could see the gleam in his eyes brighten with hope.
He stood up and took my hand as he started to run with full speed, God the boy was fast. For a half humen he was very fast.
