{Billie's POV}
••••••••••••••••••

The door swung open about a minute after I began harshly banging on it, and I wasted no time in grabbing Parker by the collar of her shirt, dragging her outside, and shoving her up against the wall. I glared at her and quickly pointed my knife at her throat, her eyes widening as I did.

"Whoa! Hey, I thought you and Dahlia were broken up when I slept with her! You don't get to be mad at me for—"

"This isn't about you sleeping with Dahlia," Kit rolled her eyes as she stepped closer, glaring down at the girl. Reed was on my other side, making sure there was nowhere for Parker to run. "This is about your little boyfriend, Julian."

"What—"

"Don't act like you don't know why we're mad," I spat as I pushed the point of the knife a little closer to her throat. She gulped and winced a little as a small drop of blood trickled down her neck. "Your boyfriend and his friends jumped Dahlia when she was all alone and defenseless, and now they're gonna pay for it and you are too."

"Wha—Why am I paying for it?! I didn't jump her, I didn't do anything!" Her voice cracked on almost every word as she frantically looked between the three of us.

"You're telling me you didn't have any idea that Julian and his little gang were planning to jump Dahlia?" I raised my brows in disbelief.

"This is the first I'm hearing about it!" She said. "I-I don't even—Julian told me he was gonna be busy this weekend and he told me not to bother him so I haven't spoken to him!"

I didn't respond, just stood there and glared at her for a minute as I tried to figure out whether or not she was lying. I figured she would've known about Julian's plans and just didn't warn Dahlia because she was a loyal little lapdog to Julian. But she really doesn't seem to be lying...

"Hey, why'd you leave the door open, Park—" Reed, Kit, and I all quickly turned to look at Paris at once. She was scratching her head and stretching her other arm, seemingly just waking up. She looked between us and Parker a few times before letting out a yawn. "Well...This is really none of my business so I guess I'll just go back inside—"

"Paris!" Parker huffed before holding her hands up in defense as I pushed the knife even closer to her once she started trying to move. "Help me! Get your damn friends away from me!"

Paris wiped her eyes with the back of her hand and sighed as she crossed her arms over her chest and leaned against the doorframe. "No. Please. Don't kill her." She rolled her eyes as she spoke monotonously.

"I don't know if I'm gonna have to kill her yet or not." I spat as I glared at Parker once again.

"Well, I tried my best." Paris shrugged.

"Paris!" Parker screamed.

"Okay, damn," Paris groaned as she closed the door and walked farther outside. "What's happening? What'd she do now?"

"Julian and his friends jumped Dahlia Saturday night and we're just now finding that out today because Dahlia's been missing ever since then!" I explained. "She called me a while ago and told me she's in a hospital two hours away. Her dad, Josephine, Nana, and Cadence are driving down to see her now. I had to stay behind because I have to deal with the assholes who decided it was okay to put their hands on my girlfriend. I decided I might as well start by dealing with Parker, who probably knew good and damn well that they planned to jump Dahlia but didn't say shit about it!" I glowered.
