🕛Time's Up

3rd Person's POV

"No.. Please... Hyung!! Hyung wake up! You can't leave me.. Hyung!!" He kept shaking the lifeless body in front of him. The skies also feel the same way as the rain pours down and the thunders roar above. "Hyung, I'm sorry." Taehyung hugged his brother and cried. "I'm so sorry.. Please come back. Come back!! Hyung!!"

11:55 P.M.

"There must be a way.. I need to bring him back." He left the body, lying on the living room and ran to his father's room. "Where is it?"

Taehyung opened every drawer and cabinet to find that circular thing. He was scared, nervous.. Papers were scattered on the floor because of his reckless doing. He looked everywhere for it and finally saw a pocket clock, hidden inside one of his father's books.

"I have to do this." He opened it and looked at the clock's hands. It was no ordinary pocket clock. It's a special one,  given to them by their ancestors a long time ago. "I need to save him."

He ran back to the living room and stood behind the dead body of his older brother. His hands were trembling and he was afraid but he was sure of what he's going to do.

"I'm traveling back in time. I need to save you whatever happens. You need to be alive even if it means the death of me."

He moved the hands of the clock and he started to feel dizzy when the whole place started to shake and change. He travelled back in time. It was the time when he was about to get shot.

He saw his brother running towards him. "Taehyung!!" He shouted. Taehyung knew what would happen. His brother will die in his place...and he doesn't want that. "Taehyung run!!" He looked at his brother and smiled before running towards the owner of the gun.

*Gun shot*

*tick tock*

*tick tock*

*tick tock*

He woke up feeling a soft surface underneath him. He slowly stood up and held his chest where he was shot. There was no blood! Not even a scar! "Where am I?"

"You're awake!" A deep echoing voice coming from nowhere startled him. "It's good to see you, Time."

"T-time?" He asked, looking above. "Who are you talking about?"

"You!" The voice shouted, making Taehyung fall back on the soft bed.

"W-what do you mean? I'm not Time! Time's not even a person."

"That's where you're wrong, son. You are Time. Do you remember moving the hands of that old clock? You do know that meddling with time is strictly prohibited!"

"I-I didn't know! I was trying to save my older brother! I had no choice!"

"But you still meddled with time. Whoever uses that stupid clock I gave to your ancestors, shall become the controller and master of time. Hence, time itself."

"What are you talking about?! I am no controller or whatever that is! I just want to save my brother. Take me back!"

The voice laughed. "You're stuck here forever as you take control and manage each and every living thing's time, deciding when their time is already up."

"Y-you mean.. Killing them? I can't take a person's life!"

"This is your punishment for saving your brother's life and for travelling back in time. You will be paying for your mistake, and you can never leave."

"No.. You can't keep me in this place! Take me back!"

"Too late! Pay for your mistake. You have nowhere else to go.. With no other choice. You're no longer a human, Taehyung. You're stuck here forever as the new Time."
