Jennie's POV

'Are you free tomorrow?'

I was looking at his text the whole day. I mean, it's sweet that someone like him actually remembers me after everything.

I got my purse and decided to go home. But he was there. "What on earth? Taehyung." He saw me and stood up. "Why are you still here?"

"I just want to make sure that you're safe."

"I am safe! Stop being so protective and just leave me alone." I left the building and entered my car. "That guy.." He's done too much now he's acting as if he actually cares. "I know you're just being fake here Taehyung. I'm never trusting you again."

I drove back to the house. I changed my clothes and plopped down on the bed. I'm so tired! I already ate dinner in my office so I won't be able to go out and see his face again.

I checked my phone and replied to him.

'Of course! Do you want us to meet?'

I waited for his reply.

'You know it. See you?'

'Sure.'

"I can't  believe we're seeing each other again after so many years. Aacckk!!" I feel like a young teenager who just got asked by her crush on a date! "See you tomorrow!"

I fixed my bed and tucked myself in. I have a big day tomorrow. "Jen?" And here he is again. "Jen, let's talk please? Stop ignoring me."

I covered my ears and turned to the other side. I don't want to talk to him again. He's just one of those fake people.

"Jennie.. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Talk to me please?" I stood up and opened the door. "Jen."

"Can you just stop? I'm trying to sleep."

"And I want to say sorry. I know I hurt your feelings and I feel bad about it. But please don't be like this to me."

"You know what? I hate seeing you. I hate hearing your voice. I'm tired of you Taehyung." I saw him start to tear up. "You've been always the mean one. Ignoring me and stuff. Now you're acting like that?"

"I-I..was just selfish."

"Yeah. You're selfish. So just leave me alone and mind your own business like you always do." I closed the door and went back to my bed. "I should just let him walk and sleep on the streets."

"Where are you going?" Why does he want to know? "I'll come with you."

"What? It's a date. You're not allowed to go with me. You'll ruin the moment." My phone vibrated. He texted me.

"It's your date, isn't it?" He was looking at my phone then to me. "Take care." He smiled and went to his room.

"What just happened?" I just shrugged it off and waited for him outside the house. I'm so excited to see him again!

'I'm outside the house.'

I texted.

After several seconds, a black car stopped in front of me. It's window went down. "Hi Jen."

"Taeyong."
