🕜Alone, not Alone

"Stop crying.. You didn't lose your company and that's what matters. It's okay." I shook my head and kept hugging him. "Jen? Hey, that's enough. You've been crying for almost an hour."

"I don't care. I'm such a fool."

"You should go home. The rain won't stop. You'll get sick if you stay out here for too long." I pulled away and he wiped my tears. "I'll take you home."

We walked back to the parking lot and he drove me home. He was holding my hand while we're walking towards my room. He opened the door for me. "Can.. Can you please stay for tonight?"

"I-" His phone rang and he read the text. "I have to go."

"But Tae... I'm alone here. I have no one else." I held his hands. "Taehyung..please stay."

"I already helped you feel better. You're going to be okay." He slowly pushed my hands away. "Good night."

"No, Taehyung.." I hugged him tight. "Please, just for tonight. I really need you. Please stay.. I don't know what to do anymore, Tae."

"Jen I need to go." He was pushing me away. "Jennie let go."

"No!" He kept pushing me away. "Don't do this to me Tae... I don't want you to leave! Taehyung!"

"I have to go!" He pushed me and quickly left the room.

I felt weak once again and fell on the floor. I cried harder than before.

I thought he'll stay.

I thought he finally cared about me.

But.. I realized, no one will really stay. They'll just come and go and nothing's really permanent. I should just accept that.

"I love you so much Jennie. I won't let anyone break us. Remember that. I'll do anything for you." The guy caressed my face and kissed my lips. "You're only mine, okay?"

"Promise." I kissed him back. "Now let's stop this cheesiness and go to class." I took his hand and we went to our class rooms. "See you later!"

"I'm the only perfect guy for you Jennie Kim! Stop daydreaming about other guys!"

"Jen." I opened my eyes and and turned to him. He came back!? "I was too harsh last night. I'm sorry."

I slowly sat down. "What are you doing here?" He took the tray beside him. "What's that for?"

"You haven't ate breakfast yet. This is also my peace offering for leaving so suddenly. The truth is I was texted by the people I'm staying with. We had a slight emergency and I had to help them.

"You're telling me the truth?" He nodded and took his phone. He showed me the text.

"But I'm here now. I took a leave so I can take care of you. You won't be alone as long as I'm here Jen." He smiled and hugged me. "You should eat. It's almost noon."

"Thanks Tae. Thanks for coming back for me."

"Of course. I'll do anything for you."
