Jennie's POV
"Taehyung!!" I ran towards him who was sitting outside grandma's room. "What the heck happened?!"
"I don't know! We were just talking and she suddenly couldn't breathe. I didn't do anything, I swear! I'm sorry."
No, no.. I can't lose her. "What did the doctor say?" He looked down. He was shaking. "Taehyung. What did the doctor say?!"
"I'm sorry." What? Why is he saying sorry?! "I think you should talk to him yourself."
The doctor came out with the nurse. "Excuse me? Are you my grandma's doctor? How is she? Is she doing fine? Please tell me she's okay.."
"She didn't make it. I'm sorry." No.. My grandma's fine!
"You're lying... She's not gone!" I ran towards her and stopped when I saw her looking so peaceful. She's still alive, right? "Grandma? Grandma, I'm here." I held her hand. It was cold. This doesn't mean.. "Grandma, you're okay, right? Open your eyes... Grandma! Grandma wake up! You're not gone.. You're not leaving me."
I felt weak. I fell on the floor and cried. She can't be gone.. She's still alive.. She won't leave me..
"Grandma.. Wake up please.. You said you won't leave. Grandma!! Please wake up. I thought you said you won't leave me? I'm all alone.."
"Jennie." I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Jennie, stand up." I shook my head and continued crying. "She don't want to see you like this. Get up."
"She's all that I have!" He pulled me up. "She's my only family! I have no one else.. I can't find my purpose anymore."
"Stop talking like that."
"It's easy for you to say because you didn't lose anyone! You didn't lose the only parent who took care of you when no one else did!"
He pulled me towards him and hugged me. "No one knows my story, Jennie. You didn't know how I suffered before. Stop crying because she loved you. She cared for you that's why you're still here. Mine didn't."
"Huh?" He hugged me tight and patted my back.
"I'm saying that she's in a better place now. She was able to take care of you, let her rest." I hugged him back and cried on his shoulder. "It's going to be okay. I'll be here for you."
"Thanks, Tae."
I prepared a burial for her. It wasn't grand since I don't really know anyone and I know no one will come even if I ask them to. It's just me and Taehyung.
As we were walking home, I felt a pair of eyes glaring at me. "What now?" I turned to him. "I'm not in the mood to argue right now."
"I have no intentions of talking to you. I'm just waiting for you to cry." I quickly hit his arm.
"I've been crying the whole day! Aren't you going to comfort me?" I stopped and opened my arms wide. "Hug me."
"Never."
"Yah.. You hugged me when I found out grandma died, remember? Hug me now.. Please? I really need it." I blinked my eyes and pouted.
"I'm not falling for that." He put his hands inside the pocket of his hoodie and walked ahead of me. "Hurry up! It's almost midnight."
"How about my hug?"
"Hug a tree." He said from afar.
"Taehyung!" I ran towards him and hugged his back. "Can you be that tree?" He removed my hands and made face him. "What's wrong?"
He leaned closer to my face. I thought he's gonna kiss me but, "Let's go home." He smirked and held my hand. "No hugging."
"Fine!" He suddenly stopped walking. "What is it?" He was looking at something. "What's that?" It was a person wearing a black cloak. It's almost the same as his but with gold laces. "Taehyung."
"What are you doing here, creator?"
