Taehyung's POV

"It's good to see you again, Taehyung." The familiar voice above spoke. "It's been months and now you're back here."

"I failed to do my mission. I used the Chronomagus again. I have to save her. She didn't deserve this. If I didn't take her family's lives, she won't be feeling this. I'm just paying for a mistake."

"Using the Chronomagus? You know about the consequences, Taehyung."

"I'll be back as Time. You don't need to tell me." It's hard to accept but I have to. "I'll get going."

I walked on this familiar hallway, leading to the center of the time realm. I'm walking on this place again. My nightmare's starting...

I guess I just have to accept that I cannot go back to life. I can't see the people I care for.. I can't see her again. But at least I had time to be with her. I had time to tell her the truth. I had time to try fixing things. But I wasn't happy with how I acted in our last days. It's okay. She doesn't remember me anymore.

When I reached the center room, a guy in gray suit was back facing me. "Excuse me? Who are you? What are you doing here? Did the Creator send you?"

"Yes. I'll be working here." He said, still facing back. "This is where I'll be staying now."

"Wait. Are you like.. My partner? I am Time. There can't be two Times right?"

"Yes.. You're not Time. I am." He slowly turned around.

It can't be...

"Hi Taehyung. This place is neat. You didn't tell me about the whole thing." What is he doing here? Shouldn't he be in the human world, staying with her?

"Why are you here? How.. How did you even get here? Do ghosts go here too?"

"What are you talking about? I just got here before you actually. And I'm staying here for good. Sounds nice, right?"

"What are you saying? You can't stay here. I'll be doing my responsibilities as Time. Look after Jennie. She's gonna need you."

"Why me? Why don't you do it yourself? That's what you wanted right? To be with her... To see her everyday.."

"But I can't anymore. I failed to do my mission. I have to face the consequences."

"You don't have to. Now go back."

"I can't! Unless someone is going to be the new Time." And that rang the bell. "Wait. Baek.. You don't mean you're-"

"Yes Taehyung. You can go back. I'll take care of everything here. I'm the new and more handsome Time "

"I don't understand you.. How?"

"I kind of saw the Chronomagus inside Jennie's drawer when the both of you were having a little bonding because you were leaving, which I didn't want to happen. I learned to touch things so I took the clock and the both of you came back and I used it."

"To go back to what time?"

"Because I'm an intellectual, I intentionally and happily used the Chronomagus to rewind your little make out session. I was just around the corner watching the both of you have fun. I repeated it one last time and poof! That's how I ended up here." He said with a smile at the end.

"You're telling me you watched us?! Twice?!"

"Couldn't think of anything. Look," He held my shoulders. "Jennie needs someone to take care of her. To stay with her. And that someone has to be alive."

"I really don't understand.."

"Tae.. You're cute but you're a dumbass."

"Couldn't agree more!" Both of us turned to him. He was laughing! I finally saw his face clearly..

"Creator.." He looks like Santa, in black and gold.

"Taehyung. What the new Time said is right. It's all about sacrifices and he ended your suffering here in the time realm. From now on, you can finally live like a normal person."

"Oh and by the way. Mr. Creator and I talked about you being born again and stuff.. You don't have to become a baby again. You can continue living this life until you die of old age. You can still see her and be with her. Live well Taehyung. Do it right this time."
