"I really can't take the pressure ma'am. My family indeed needs me and this work but I'm starting to lose focus on myself."
"Are you saying you want to resign?" She looked at her family. "Ma'am, you can't find another decent job out there."
"But my body can't take it anymore. I'm getting old and I'm starting to get sick. I'm sure there's a better job for me. I've spent half of my life, working for your family, Ms. Kim. Thank you for your help."
"But.." She smiled and bowed.
"I'll go now. See you around, Ms. Kim. I hope you do good in your following years. I wish you and this company all the best." She said and left the building.
"She worked the longest in my company.. Why would she also leave?" I felt my tears forming..
"Are you crying?" I quickly turned around and saw him looking at me. "Who was she? Was it so hard for you to let go?"
"She was always there when my parents would take me to work. I was like.. Nine or eight back then and she would accompany me with her son."
"Her son?" Oh goodness! Is he jealous or something? "Dead or alive?"
"What if I say he's alive? He looked a lot like you actually." He raised his eyebrow and walked closer.
"Then why are you flirting with me when you can do it with him? Or you're just not contented?"
"Tsk, fine. He also died. He was one of my friends and just like the others, he also left me. No one stayed, remember?"
"Right."
"Ms. Kim!" And there she is again. "You have a meeting with the board later at three. You also have to meet the new investors at Blackblues Café at six."
"Really?" Gosh.. I looked at the clock and it's almost three. "Um, Taehyung.. Wait for me in my office, okay?" I glared at Yaesoo before holding Taehyung's hand. "Let's go."
I took him to my office and went to the conference room. Another boring meeting, tsk.

Taehyung's POV
"She had a good heart. Okay." I looked at the time and patted the couch. "Will that meeting take hours?"
The door suddenly opened. It's her secretary, Yaesoo? "Hi." She was holding her planner close to her chest. "You're Ms. Kim's friend, right? I'm Lee Yaesoo." She extended her right hand. "You are?"
"Taehyung." I took her hand and shook it. She sat beside me and crossed her legs.
"How long have you been friends with her?" I'm not friends with her. I'm just doing this because her grandma told me too.
"Just this week." I moved away from her but she also moved close to me.
"Ms. Kim's really moody, isn't she? I've been working for her for three years already and she always scolds me. What do you think is wrong with me, Mr. Taehyung?" She asked, pouting her lips.
"How would I know that? We only met half an hour ago." She laughed awkwardly and nodded.
"Ahh.. You're right. Sorry." She tucked her hair behind her ear. "Um, can I just call you, Taehyung?" I nodded. "You see, Taehyung.. Ms. Jennie is really horrible. One time, one of our employees asked for help. His son was dying and he asked Ms. Jennie to give him his advance payment. But she fired him and the whole company heard that this son of his died."
