Jennie's POV
"He would really do anything to make my life miserable. He just won't stop!" I sat on the couch and crossed my legs.
"You don't believe him, do you?" I turned to him. "You trust me right?"
"Why would I believe him? He lied to me. There is no way I'm going to believe anything he says. I'm tired of it."
"Right. You shouldn't believe a stranger." He held my hand and pulled me up. "Now hurry. You're almost late for work."
I ran to my room and changed my clothes. I looked at the golden clock on my mirror. "I can't give you to him yet." I went downstairs and he drove me to my company.
"See you later." He smiled and left.
I went to my office and started doing the paper works.
--
"Hey it's my burger! Get yourself yours!" I took the burger from him. His face was blurry and he was laughing. "It's not funny."
"I already took a bite from it. I'll just buy you another." He was trying to get the burger from me and I started running. "Jen!"
He caught me and pulled my arm making his lips land on mine.
--
"Ms. Kim!" I quickly opened my eyes. My new secretary was in front of me. "Ms. Kim, I'm sorry to disturb your sleep but, someone wants to talk to you downstairs."
"W-what's the name of this someone?" I asked, massaging my temple. My head started to get painful after that unusual dream.
"Taehyung."
"What?!" I stood up and left my office. "That liar.. How dare he show up again?" I went to the lobby and saw him. "What can't you understand from 'leave me alone'?"
"Jennie you have to believe me. He's working for Yaesoo and if you completely trust him, he will make you sell your company."
"And why would I believe you? You've been lying about your true identity all this time now you want me to believe you? That's not how it works Taehyung."
"But I'm telling the truth right now! Do you think after how you acted like this, I'd still lie to you? Jen, I'm trying to help you."
"Through telling me that Taeyong is a liar? I'm not gonna believe this shit Taehyung. Go home." I turned around but he pulled me back.
"What if I'm telling the truth?" Sincerety was in his eyes. I don't know if I should believe him or not. He's done so many things already. I can't just trust him again. That's pure stupidity.
"Then bravo. I don't care about you and your lies. This is the last time I'm saying this. Don't talk to me again." I yanked my arm away from him and went back to my office. "That little-ughhh!!" I leaned on my chair and played with the pen in front of me.
I suddenly remembered what I dreamed of. Who on earth was that? His face is not that clear and his voice... His voice sounds so familiar. Was that... My past life?
"Aish. What are you thinking Kim Jennie? You're starting the fantasy again." I went back on the papers and continued.
It's almost ten when I left. I went to the parking lot to get my other car because Taeyong said he can't go here. I suddenly heard two people talking. Their voices echoed to the whole place. Of course I can hear them.
