Flashback to a thousand years ago...

"I'm sorry! I'm so so sorry! I didn't mean to bump you. I just accidentally tripped over something." I kept bowing to her. You're so clumsy Taehyung.

"You're.. Kim Taehyung, right?" She knows me? "Yeah.. Wait. You're in my English class!" She really knows me? "I'm Kim Jennie. You don't know me?"

"I don't talk to my classmates, I'm sorry." Her cheeful expression suddenly changed to a normal one, but she smiled.

"Ah.. I see." I looked at her shirt. It's white but I tripped over something and my chocolate drink splashed on her. "Don't worry about this! I have an extra shirt in my locker."

"I'm really sorry." I bowed to her again. "Let me make it up to you. I'll buy you something."

"What? Aish, you don't have to. It's really okay Taehyung." She smiled at me. I didn't know what happened but my lips automatically curved upwards upon seeing her. "Anyway, are you heading to class?"

"Yeah. Are you?"

"Yep. Let's just go together then. But, I still need to change. Wait for me, okay? It won't take long." She ran towards the locker room.

Just like what she said, I waited for her. After several more minutes, she came back wearing an oversized black shirt. "You look cool."

"Well thanks, I'm flattered." She giggled and took my hand. "Let's go."

We went to our English class. This subject is the hardest for me. But when I turned to her, she was doing well.

After our class, she went to my desk. "Are you okay? You look problematic." She sat beside me. "Come on, you can tell me."

I sighed. "I don't know. It's really difficult for me." She laughed. "Wae? Don't judge me!"

"Okay, okay.. I'll help you. But.. You have to be my friend in exchange." Friend? Her? "What do you say big guy? Friend or nah?"

"You know? I have no hesitations. We can be friends even if you don't ask me." She gasped and covered her mouth.

"Really? Wahhh.. I thought you'll say 'no'. I thought you're one of those coldass babies who would ignore and judge my personality."

"Don't think of me that way. People actually think I'm cold and that's because I don't talk. But I'm not! That's why I don't have that much friends."

"Aww.. It's okay." I was shocked when she wrapped her arms around me. "I'm here." She pulled away. "Why do you look like that? Haven't a girl hugged you before?"

"My mom.. Only."

"Right..you're not friendly. My bad. Won't happen again." She smiled and we stood up, leaving the classroom. "See you later Taehyung! I'm your friend now so don't treat me like air!" She shouted before running towards her class.

"She's funny." I went to my next class and the silence starts again.

Dismissal

"Taehyung! Taehyung! Taehyuuuungg!!" I was about to turn around but she backhugged me. "Sorry, did it again. You have to get used to me being all clingy." She pulled away and smiled.

"I think I will. You're more clingy than I expected. I didn't even expect you to be clingy."

"Well you do now." She cupped my cheeks. "Let's go." She grabbed my hand and walked towards the gate.

"I have a car."

"What? Ahh.. You're probably rich." Her expression changed. "I thought you're one of us kids who would walk home."

"Then I'll drive you home."

"No need. My parents might get it wrong. See you tomorrow then Taehyung!" She let go of my hand and left.

"See you."
