🕖Truth Told

I woke up, hearing sobs of someone beside me. A blanket was wrapped around her body. Did we do something last night? Why is she crying?

I sat down and looked at her- "Jennie!" She turned to me. Her eyes were red and she looks like a mess. "Jen-"

"Don't come near me!" She shouted and pushed me away. "Go away!!"

"Jen.. Jen what did I do? I-I didn't know about this."

"Just get away from me Taehyung!! You've done enough!! I never expected you to be this bad!" She spat out.

"I was drunk.. I don't know!"

"Well the harm's done and I'm not who I am before!! This is your fault!"

"No, Jen.." I tried holding her hand but she panicked and quickly pushed me away. "Jennie listen to me!"

"I will never!! It was a mistake meeting you!! You're not the Taehyung I fell inlove with anymore."

"Of course I'm still him. I'm still that person Jennie! I'm just too scared right now. I'm scared to lose you. I'm scared that I can't have you back."

"And you will never. You've done it Tae. You completely ruined us." Her tears fell down and looked away. "I wanted us to stay friends. That's the truth. But you ruined everything after what you did to me."

"Jennie, I'm sorry.. I wouldn't do it if I was just thinking straight! You know me.."

"I'm done with you Taehyung. Stop reasoning. You can't bring anything back. Not even our friendship."

"Jennie.."

"Stay away from me after this. I don't want to see you anymore. I will never forgive you." She stood up, the blanket wrapped around her and picked up her clothes. She looked at her ruined shirt and sighed.

"H-here." I gave her my shirt. "Take that at least.. I'm sorry Jen." She grabbed my shirt and wore it. "I'll take you home. After that, I'll stay away. If that's what you really want.." She finished dressing up and left the room. "What have I done?"

I left the room, shirtless. Some of the workers were looking at me but I didn't care. Everything's messed up. My life's messed up.

She was waiting outside my car. Her head down, fiddling with her fingers. I wanted to hug her right now but I know she's scared. She's afraid of me and I don't want her to hate me even more.

I opened the door for her and went in. I went to the driver's seat and started the car. While I'm driving, I noticed her hands were shaking. "I won't hurt you anymore. You don't  have to be scared."

"I don't trust you." She was looking outside the window. "Don't talk to me."

I dropped her to her house and she immediately went inside. She didn't even say anything. Not even a glance. And when she closed the door, it hit me. She's gone..

Because of me.

"Taehyung!" Hyung ran towards me. "Where have you been?! You made me so worried! What happened? Why.. Where's your shirt?"

"Hyung..I'm sorry. I'm sorry it was an accident." I held on his arm. "I'm so sorry.. I was drunk."

"What are you talking about? What happened?"

"I hurt Jennie." His brows arched. "I went to the bar last night.. I drank a lot. That's what I remembered. The next thing I know, she was beside me. She was..she was crying. Hyung.. I assaulted her. I didn't intend to. Believe me.."

"What? Taehyung, why would you do such thing? I understand that you still like her until now but why did you have to do this to her just to get her back?!"

"Hyung it was an accident! I didn't mean to! I was drunk! I was drunk, okay?! I would never hurt her!"

"Too bad you already did! She's my girlfriend and she's my responsibility! I feel disgusted with you Taehyung." He bumped my shoulder and went to his room.

First Jennie, now you? I lost my bestfriend. Now I've lost my brother. The only person who sincerely cares about me.
