Taehyung's POV

"So you're mad at me because I was such a selfish friend before?" She stood up and crossed her arms in front of me. "Yah. I was right though. You promised me. You shouldn't break a promise."

"That's just half of the story. I'm not telling you everything." She raised an eyebrow at me. "The truth is.. I'm leaving soon."

"What?! No. You can't. We just made up. You can't just leave me. AGAIN."

"Look. The creator sent me here to find the Chronomagus. I need to return it to him. If I fail, I won't be able to be born again. We'll never meet again."

"But.. You mean, after you leave with that clock.. I won't see you again? I still have to die and live another life? I won't remember you!"

"But at least there's a chance that we'll see each other. If I stay as Time, I'll be stuck in that world, hearing the cries of the one's left in the human world because I have to kill someone special to them! It's hard Jennie! I won't be able to talk to you. The only thing I can hear is your voice. I don't want that. I want to see you everyday."

"If.. If you find that clock.. Before that fvcking deadline.. What's gonna happen?"

"I have to leave immediately."

"You won't even spend the remaining days here? Taehyung we'll never meet or even see each other again! We're not sure that fate will bring us together next time! You're just gonna leave that fast?"

"Jen.."

"You're unbelievable." She left and closed the door forcefully. "I'm sorry."

Jennie's POV

"Shit!! Just shit!!" I kept throwing my things. "Why.. Why does it have to be so fast?!" I brushed my hair back and sat on the bed. "I can't."

I turned to the clock hanging on my mirror. This piece of shit. I stood up and took it.

"He shouldn't know that it's here. I can't let him leave. He's the only one left to me. I don't want him to go." I took a book and kept hitting it. "Just break already.." I threw the book away and threw the clock on the wall.

But it's still not broken.

"Hell are you made of?" I stepped on it many times but it's still looking new. "I can't let Taehyung go!"

I opened my drawer and looked for something sharp. I found a pocket knife and tried breaking this junk with it. "Why! Can't! You! Be! Des! Troyed!?" I did one last jab but my hands just started to bleed.

I fell on the floor and cried. He can't go. I can't lose him. He's the only person I have.

"Why do you have to leave me too?" I looked at the clock that was still in one piece. "I won't let him see this." I stood up and took the clock. I kept it inside my cabinet. I wiped my bleeding hands and went back on the bed. "I'll give it to him on the day he leaves. I'll just spend more time with him while he's here."

"What did you want to tell me? You said it was important." I was sitting beside the guy again. I still couldn't see his face. "What is it?"

"Jennie.. I-I.. I wanted to say this to you but I was too scared. But I'm ready to tell you."

"Hey. Do you have a serious problem?" I held his hand. "You can tell me anything."

"Jen.. Jen, I like you." I widened my eyes and looked at him, confused. "Since the first time I saw you.. I knew I felt something special."

"A-are you sure? Maybe you're just.. Confused or.. Or it's just a silly false alarm.. Or-" I couldn't speak another word.

He lifted my chin and kissed my lips. I closed my eyes and kissed him back. He slowly pulled away. His face was starting to become visible. "I'm sorry. I was just carried away-"

I pulled him back and kissed his lips. I can tell that he was surprised of what I did. "I like you too, Taehyung." And there, I finally knew who he was as his face becomes clearer and clearer.

I got up, covering my mouth. "Taehyung. It was Taehyung.."
