One Shot - Forever (ft. Emias)

There she is. My little girl. In front of the vanity mirror, preparing for her big day. It seems like it was yesterday when we were just running around the fields.

I can't believe she's about to get married. My Emma. She will then go and have a family of her own. Tears of joy suddenly dropped.

"Mama, don't cry, ang drama niyo po" Emma said

I just smiled and wiped my tears. I went near her and hugged her.

"I just can't believe na ikakasal ka na" I said

She held my hand and smiled.

"Mama, wag ka nang umiyak please, baka umiyak din ako dito" she said

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door. It's Intoy. What is he doing here?

"Intoy, ba't ka nandito? Alam mo bang girls lang dito?" Emma said

"Chill Emma hahaha, pinabibigay lang ni Elias, wear it daw" Intoy said habang binibigay ang isang box

Kinuha ito ni Emma at ngumiti.

"Una na ako, Mrs. Serrano" sabi niya

I saw Emma opening the box. She smiled. I looked at it.

A necklace. With her name on it. Ewan ko ba, kinikilig din ako hahaha. Tinulungan ko siyang isuot ito.

"You're so lucky to have him" I said

"Thanks ma, ikaw din naman ah, you're so lucky to have papa" sabi niya

"Of course, I never regretted the decision of loving him" I said

"I wish Elias will be like him" sabi niya

"I'm sure Elias will take care of you anak" sabi ko

"Mam, the wedding is about to start, let's go" the organizer said

I helped Emma go out kasi ang laki ng gown niya. Inilalayan ko siya sa sasakyan. Sumakay ako sa front seat.

Nung dumating kami, nandun na lahat. Everyone is already there, waiting for the bride.

"Ready ka na Emma?" I asked her

"No one is ever ready pero opo" she said

I went outside first. Pumila na kami sa linya. At dun, nakita ko si Fabio. Ewan, everytime I see him, I fall inlove all over again.

"How's my beautiful wife? Namiss kita" he said while kissing my cheeks

"Sus, kanina lang tayo nagkita eh, miss na agad" I said

"Alam mo namang ayokong mawala ka sa paningin ko diba? Ready na ba si Emma?" tanong niya

Instead of answering, tinuro ko si Emma. Kumaway siya samin.

"Our baby girl is no baby girl anymore" he said

We heard the wedding bells kay umayos na kami sa pagpila. We walked down the aisle at huminto sa gitna para antayin si Emma.

And there she goes. Beautiful in that white gown. Walking gracefully in the aisle. Pagdating niya samin ay inalalayan namin siya papunta kay Elias.

"Take care of our daughter" sabi ko

"Wag mo siyang papaiyakan ha, tampohin tong anak ko" sabi ni Fabio

"Makakaasa po kayo Mr. & Mrs. Serrano" sabi ni Elias

Tumango lang kami. They continued walking to the center. Kami naman ay pumunta sa upuan namin.

Nagsimula ng yung misa. All through out nakangiti lang ako. Nakahawak din ako sa kamay ni Fabio.
